MSE Parents Club Part 12

Evening, came on at lunchtime to catch up, got as far as Sami saying she'd never had South African (which I thought was a little TMI ) and the school rang as Ben had a little accident so a few hours of drama started. We now have to wait for a phonecall from a consultant tomorrow morning to see if his ankle is broken! :eek:

Not really sure to be honest Although there's only so much notice you can give for a christening really isn't there?!

Oooh really? Maybe I should phone asap...I just don't like to tempt fate and book an unborn baby in for things! As long as I get something in September I suppose it doesn't matter if it isn't the beginning, just Oct & Nov are busy birthday months.

3 - I figure I am not paying out for a venue, and food won't cost much as so few people...that I can push the boat out a bit and supply drinks:p Most will be driving anyway so I doubt anyone will drink much:)

Tara - sending huge hugs for you and Ben, if Katie was awake she'd be sending him kisses. Fingers crossed it's not broken.

Is he in hospital or is he at home?

Christenings - Katie born 14th April, DH delivered form to Church to book Christening on 21st April, booked for 10 weeks later!

We just had everyone back to ours after the church, I did a buffet and it was bring your own booze I only provided soft drinks. I had the cake made.

does depend on the church and if you have a specific date in mind. some churches if there is a good school attatched will have lots of christenings all the time. some clergy only have 1 baby/child a week some have more.

we booked Kian's 6 months in advance to get the sunday we wanted

Oh no Ben, bad timing! I hope it's not a break, Tara.

Susan- I am like Alice and would much rather have sandwich components separately, although I think part of my 'thing' is that I can't bear butter or marge on bread (or anything) so I associate sandwiches with that. I'd much rather have a buffet of things on my plate.

BM- could you put some crackers and some cheese or egg or something in for Keira if she doesn't like sandwiches?

JM- I forgot to say well done to Jake earlier, but you must be so proud of him.
