sj im guess he'll wriggle off ... glam rountine is the only way things work in my house .. not mine but the kids x

I think that as soon as he gets in the bath he knows it's bedtime, I just wish he'd stay still in the bath! He's always trying to climb out or reach up to the windowsill - I'm constantly standing over him. He refuses to stay in the bath seat (which I have to try and use now he's mobile) and I know that if he was in one of the ones with a bar at the front he'd just arch his back and throw himself backwards :(

Hello everyone!! Had a quick catch up whilst perusing the baby bits on boots.com

Had a bit of a bad night with T last nite, he really wasnt himself. Im sure its cos of his 2nd tooth coming through, today its poked through the gum so hopefully its not so sore now.

Went to aqua tots this morning, really enjoyed it, it was £3 for a half hour session which involves nursery rhymes in the pool but also free time too. It actually works out cheaper than going to our normal pool as we only tend to stay in about that long anyhoo.

Does anyone here use baby armbands? I currently hold T the whole time we are in the pool, have tried a swimseat and quite like that too. But just saw armbands for babies from 3-24 months on boots.com here
Just wondered if they are worth getting?

Cos he would chuck himself off the side!

Getting him dressed and bum changes is a absolute nightmare - he crawls off the minute the nappy's off regardless of whether I've wiped him and when I'm putting his clothes on he rolls over mid change, sits up and throws himself backwards. At least on the double bed I have plenty of room to manovure him about, it's easier for me to catch him and it's not as far to fall if he ever did.

Kierens twin:D Total nightmare! From mid afternoon onwards each nappy change he ends up wearing less and less clothing cos i cba wrestling with him! Hes usually only in an open poppered vest by getting ready for bed time :rotfl:

Fair enough! A loves the bath but he cries once he gets to the change unit as think he then realises he's hungry and tired

    Christening Finally!!

Well after much prodding and poking, we have finally discussed the christening in a sensible fashion:cool: Dh has specified that he doesn't want a big do! Basically we never see any of our extended families, so he doesn't see the point in inviting them. When we had the older two done my dad was still alive so I did still have 'minimal' contact with all my cousins etc from that side, but since he passed away I have bumped into one cousin twice and another once.....in over 3yrs, so I do agree. Also dh hates his side of the family, they are all complete nutjobs and half of them need locking up!

So we are going with..... Christening in the same church the older two were done in, which happens to be were dh and his brother were christened too:) Then back to our house, as there will only be about 20 peole and that doesn't include the fact that 4 of them most likely won't attend. The only kids will be our 4 and my best friends 2, so we will just have the patio doors open and they can play out with the toys/garden equipment.....it should still be nice weather as we are aiming for the very beginning of Sept:D

I think as there aren't very many of us, I will order food and put a selection of beers, wines and spirits on myself....

I think it will be nice to have it small and informa,l as we had the big party last time.
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

    Sounds lovely Mel :)

Im so bored, me and DH had a tiny arguement earlier. He's been saying he's hungry all night, and i have offered to cook him dinner like 5 times. Each time he has said no.

So at 8:30pm i said we should to go the co-op and he started saying "you always do this. Leave it all night for dinner and then try and make it so it will be ready at 10pm!"

So i basically started shouting at him saying i've been offering all night, and its not my problem if he keeps saying no. And that he has his own legs and can cook his own dinner. So he should basically grow up and stop being such a !!!! :rotfl:

I then ignored him for ages and now he loves me again :p:D
