Weezl - I've just had a skim by why is Fergie a bit delayed? If it makes you feel any better, all Keira was doing at 1 was babbling and saying "aye" and her speech remained a bit bablefish until 3.0

ETA - helps if I write it!
How do you manage to get Alice into her car seat when it is rear facing?
I planned to keep J rear facing for as long as possible BUT I am really struggling to fit him through the gap between the roof of the car and the top of the car seat. I keep catching his head when I put him in. I guess it could just be that my car is narrow but I don't think I'll manage it for much longer.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Can I whisper so as not to upset Glam that Edward got his first tooth today.
And not linked to that piece of news at all, refused point blank to let me cut his nails! His nails aren't all that long but they are very sharp and he's got a habit of pinching my neck and cleavage, and it really hurts. I did try filing them down with an emery board but that didn't make much difference, and he's not a heavy enough sleeper to do it in his sleep. Does anyone have any tried and tested ways of dealing with nails please.0 -

I'm just glad for now that I don't get bitten! J likes to put his mouth on my knee and bit down with his gums and that hurts like hell! :rotfl:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

but I'm on a diet (again) :rotfl:
I could give this a go I suppose. Do they break off quite easily if you bite them, or do they tear down to the quick, like a grown ups would?0 -

SJ - could it just be teeth? runny nappy and nappy rash? (not that I would know of course
)
I did wonder that but I don't think so, it's not so much that it's runny, it's the colour, green and looks like it's got herbs in it :eek: _pale_ :rotfl:
