I think the Item as described, Communication and two of the p+p charges was from the person who bought 2 fathers day cards from me and said that the photo made the cards look better than they actually were and sent me a message to which I didnt reply to within 12 hours (I'd got home from work ill so went to bed without checking emails or any computer stuff). She gave me 1 neutral and 1 positive.
Have had 4 npb since 1 feb of which 2 have paid and I got 2 FVF back.
Item as described = Always describe as accurate as I can
Communication = Never email to say posted but do mark items as dispatched. Posted 2 items last week, both of which went 1st although buyer paid for 2nd, one of which got 64p refund cos went LL and not packet, no feedback received from either buyer and no thanks for refund either.
Dispatch time = Always post within 2-3 days or next day if possible. Used to have 5 days on auction listing but dropped it down to 4 days now
Postage and packaging charges = Had listed with 1st n 2nd class listed this time but still only sold 3 items (out of 131) so going back to just 1st class and going to drop the packing charge down and see if that makes a difference
Did have auction/BIN on items but not one single taker. Did this last lot at 99p start and 3 takers with watchers on 7 items. Would it be worth it to start at 50p each or 75p each ? (selling books and dvds mainly)

i think its cos ebay doing "seller dashboard maintenance" at the moment and its flagging all people's accounts (see ebay announcement page)0

The seller dashboard is very important, I have been worrying about the fact that it almost seems to be ignored and only feedback concentrated by a lot of us users. I know many regulars here are bored by me constantly urging people to watch their expanded dashboards.
You can call reports up and see where the real weakness is and even narrow it down to categories and countries and it might be worth a look.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I think the DSR's have a vital flaw. A competitor can buy a cheap item, leave a positive yet mark all the stars with a 1 or 2. I had just 1 low rating for P&P but last week I suddenly had 1 low rating for everything and 2 for P&P. I have had no disputes or negs/neutrals. I am now in the dodgy area for postage yet havn't put it up since the RM price rise.0

Hello. I have just joined and it is a relief to see I am not the only one to get this email from ebay. I have one neg that was actually a lie but otherwise over 400 positive. My lowest rating is 4.5 for P&P and that is because some people just balk at paying any P&P at all. Ebay is becoming a joke!0
-
Sorry, but at 4.5 you really do need to look at your P&P. It is not how high/low P&P is, but the perception of your buyers re your P&P, get your head around that and you're laughing.0

Honestly, I charge people the exact cost, or sometimes it has been less and I have lost out! I really don't know why I have this score.0 -
I'm sorry but 4.5 would put me off buying from you unless you were the only seller of that item.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Like I say, it is the buyers PERCEPTION. I charge £0 for P&P but build the cost into the price. I am 5 on postage. Makes no sense! I'm not suggesting you charge £0, but perhaps a flat rate of £1. Build the cost into the start price.0 -
i also received an email today stating that my account was below standard due to my postage and packaging fees. I keep my postage and packaging fees to a minimal average £2.50 to £3.00. I cannot understand this as my daughter charges double and her account status is standard. i think something is wrong somewhere. I actually emailed ebay about it but they were not very helpful.0
