    With the Nationwide application, was the search a 'soft' search (i.e. for quotation purposes) or a full credit search?

    Looks like soft search for loan shows on Equifax and call credit and soft for credit card is experian (nationwide)

    Hi just joined
    I need to remortgage and am restricted to institutions that check Experian only.....and are deff not Santander. Using this thread I`ve been able to get an 18 month 0% credit card with Nationwide (As promised only Experian file checked) so big thanks to everyone.

    According to Experian I`m a superstar with the other 2 I`m a pariah.

    Can anyone tell me if The Hanley Economic Building Society still only use Equifax for Mortgage search? On an other note
    Leeds BS Equifax only for mortgage
