Can anyone confirm what agency Halifax and Nationwide use for Mortgages?0

Sainsburys credit cards recently also searched Noddle for me.
Also, United Utilities (water supplier in the North West) have started reporting to Equifax.
Quite so. If you're unfortunate enough to be one of their customers contact them and ban them from carrying out a credit check. You will not have agreed to any T&Cs in this respect. It seems there's nothing you can do to stop them reporting data about you, other than making it difficult for them to do so - don't give them your full name, DoB etc.0 -

It doesn't bother me so much that they're reporting to Equifax. They didn't run a credit search on me but they've been my supplier since September 2012 and therefore it's possible they run credit checks for new customers.
Interesting angle though are you suggesting they don't have authority to make monthly reports to CRAs? No idea if I signed anything to agree to it......if not then perhaps could get some handy compensation...:)0 -
Some info:
Sainsburys credit card: Searched Experian & Noddle. Didn't search Equifax
Lloyds club bank account: Searched Experian & Noddle. Didn't search Equifax
TSB Classic Plus: Searched Experian. Didn't search Equifax or Noddle.
All of the above applications made within the last 6 months.0 -
* = A green asterisk symbol next to a CRA in an entry denotes that most forum users have reported that the lender uses that CRA. The usual disclaimer (above) applies to this information.
* = An orange asterisk symbol next to a CRA in an entry denotes that this was my personal experience when I applied for the product. This was my experience, yours may be different!
Can you change the colours? I'm coloured blind and its really difficult to see which is which. ThanksAll that glitters is not gold.0 -
Diners Club searched Equifax only for me, in November 2014.0

As water and Sewage is a monopoly I would urge anyone who does not want their account information to be passed to third party agencies to contact the water firm and say you are moving and set up a new account in a different name. Or just tell them to send the new bill to "The Occupier".0
