  • Thanks this information is great. Do you know if Nat West use Call Credit for morgages? Also can you explain (maybe it's just me) why banks do search on an agency then reports on others?

This thread is very helpful, as is the whole forum. Over the last years, the advice I have been given from you has been a great help.

My equifax and experian file will be clear after february 2014. And call credit in August.

I am in a good position, managing my finances well. And will be looking to transfer from my vanquis cards to a better one.

I've had a Three contract for over a year and they don't report to Experian. They do appear on Equifax and CallCredit though. Their searches appear on all 3 files.

I'm looking for a good balance transfer card, preferably with just experian. Does anyone know when the list was last updated?

    Thanks

Don't know if anyone is interested, just reviewed my searches for the last year and here is what I found (very similar to original message).

    Nationwide account EX
    Vodafone EX
    Aqua EX
    bright house CC
Cap one (various cards) EX EQ CC
    Barclays Acc EX
    Jd Williams EX
    jacamo EX
    Premier Man EX
    Natwest Acc EX EQ
    Shop direct (very, littlewoods) EQ
    Next EQ
    Sygma bank EQ

I found this post helpful, as part of my journey to improving my credit worthiness.

Come February, my file will be even cleaner (2defaults dropping off).
My Experian file will all be clear, leaving a default from BT on my Equifax (which I'm fighting, as it's a default after I moved house on an account that I closed)
  • Just thought I'd mention that I have recently applied for 2 loans (i know big mistake doing it close together!)...

    Nationwide searched Equifax
    Sainsbury's Bank searched Experian
And they both searched Call Credit (Noddle)
  • Wondering if anyone can tell me who blackhorse use to credit search and what sort of score would you need ie would 2 defaults from 2 years ago stop a car loan ex shows these with a 700 score

Halifax told me last week that they search EX and EQ for their credit cards, I assume that would be correct but as yet despite my application being on 13 Jan, no searches have showed up on either yet.
