Me either, they've only ever searched EX for me except for a loan app when they also searched CC.

  • Currently going through the mortgage application process with YBS (Yorkshire Building Society). Just want to confirm the front page is still correct, so far they've only done a credit search with Equifax. They have also used Experian but only for an identification check. This thread is brilliant, keep up the good work.

If the underwriters need to query anything during the underwriting process they'll also do an unrecorded enquiry with Experian, they did with me, but it was fine, once I'd explained a few things :o

Does anyone know who searches Danske Bank, I am going for a mortgage app with them?
  • i have recently applied for a loan with Nationwide and they searched Equifax and Call Credit but didnt search with Experian!!!
  • First of all it took umpteen times to recognise the squiggly phrase to be able to join the forum.

Anyway, I know my credit file with Call Credit and Equifax is rubbish but Experian is absolutely clear.

Using the list, I applied for the Nationwide Flex Account and hey presto, got approved on line not five minutes ago.

So for bank accounts with Nationwide it is just Experian that you need.

    Thanks a lot.

  • Hanley Economic Building Society only use Equifax. 100% Checked Call Credit, Experian and Equifax and also saw my Credit Report on the Advisor's desk when I went in and it said Equifax. \thanks to this thread I've got a mortgage. Good work!! Also Everyday Loans use Equifax too. Thanks
