Ahh! I see, sorry
It wasn't clear what you meant from your previous post
Odd that the search took a few days to appear - were you ordering a fresh copy of your report each day?
Well, it was there the day after I applied, so it definitely appeared within 24 hours, BUT.....I must admit when I checked on that occasion I had to go back and hit the 'reorder' button as I forgot(why DO you have to do that on EQ?!)......sooooooooo - there is a good chance I never 'ordered' the new search when I checked on the day in question!
Too excited with the applications probably !0 -
I applied for Barclaycard last week and they used Equifax for both pre check and full check. No sign of them using Experian..
But my question is this - does anyone know who Metro Bank search when taking a credit card? I see they use EQ for the Current Account which I've already got...Never argue with an idiot. Especially not this idiot because I'm always right anyway.0 -
I applied for an O2 contact three months back.
Got it, and afterwards found they did a Table 1 (Recorded), opt-out search on Equifax.
Now, three months down the line, the O2 search has automatically fallen off. It that normal, or is O2 especially affectionate towards me ?0 -
Do HSBC credit cards use Call Credit? I have checked my Experian and Equifax reports and its not mentioned in either of those - have had it since 1997 and currently has a 9.5/10k balance. Am looking at applying for a debt consolidation loan but was turned down by Sainsburys so being a little cautious and trying to understand ratings a bit more...having said that was approved for a Priority Club Black CC today (powered by Barclays) - to be used purely for business expenses and full repayment every month.0

I can confirm Metro Bank search Equifax only for both credit card and current account..Never argue with an idiot. Especially not this idiot because I'm always right anyway.0

I have a terrible credit history but by going through the link on this site, I got a barclays balance transfer deal - it was 2 months shorter and a grand than advertised but I still got it.Total debts at start of 2012: £6000 CC (0% int.)
2012 paid off target: £1700/£1500 :rotfl:
Total debt paid: £1800/£6000 :T0 -
I am desperately trying to see if GE Money only search EXPERIAN when doing a mortgage search... any ideas?0

Virgin Media now report to Experian!0

Just to confirm recent experiences:
Barclaycard still only searched Equifax for my OH and I.
Sygma still only searched Equifax for Creation cards.
Yorkshire Building Society also only search Equifax for Mortgages.
Skipton BS only searching Call Credit for Mortgages.
Virgin media do now indeed report to Experian. Badly. They added a lovely big fat default on my OH's credit file for an account he never had... Which funnily enough never appeared on Equifax. Retards.
Oh, and YBS happily accepted my OH and I for a mortgage despite several negative factors:
Having recently moved bank
Having had more than two credit searches in the last six months
My OH has a default on his credit file, too - albeit five years old and settled
A cumulative DTI of 32% (Which I guess isn't too bad but not ideal)
Great deal, too. BOE + 2.49% for two years followed by three years at 3.99% fixed. Quite happy with thatCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
