Hello, recently opened a Norwich & Peterborough current account.
Whilst they searched and are now recording against my Equifax file, there is nothing for them in my Experian file - not even a search
Hope this helps0 -

not sure what you mean? All credit files are up to date. do you mean you only want to use lenders that use experian only for credit checks?0
-
hazzinho, yes mate that is exactly what i need , i have an excellent experian report , and a totally poor equifax report0
-
When you say "Excellent" experian and "Poor" equifax are you going by their "Scores", or the actual content of the report itself (searches, repayment history, etc)?Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

I believe Barclays report the overdrawn balance on the last day of the month, as do Halifax and Lloyds (although this could be the balance on the 1st of the month, I'm unsure).
Also Capital One report the CC Balance at the end of month to the CRAs -- bad for me because the payment date is the 4th of the month meaning that the reported CC balance is higher than the balance that shows on my CC statements.
Experian update their files on Wednesdays and Sundays. AFAIK Equifax update daily.DEBT OUTSTANDING [14.01.12]: £6,900 / £21,725 (REPAID 68%)0
