Who does Sainsbury (loans) search?

I don't see M&S Loans listed, so just letting you know that they checked Equifax when I applied for a loan last week.

Thats a very useful post and hopefully it will be added to the list, just to clarify though, have you also checked your experian and call credit files to see if the information has been sent to those cra's also...or do you only check your equifax one

its very useful to me as my equifax is not showing a default

Aqua use Call Credit only according to their website - although this seems strange to me...as they probably report account conduct to all three

Aqua used Equifax with me and call credit not sure about Experian.

I recently apllied for finance with DFS and they search Experian, haven't checked Equifax no search on CC. The search was done by Hitachi Capital, I thought it was provided by Creation Financial.

they have many lenders, they use santander too. Just depends who is doing the best deal for them at the time!

Hello all

Just a quick update...........

I applied for an Amex Nectar card recently and as an existing customer did not get credit searched, just an unrecorded enquiry.

I also got a top-up on my Tesco loan and they searched both Equifax and Experian, they only searched Equifax when I originally took the loan.

Please keep the information coming if you've recently applied for credit, you may just help someone else out!
