I dont just make it up as i go along. Honest.

Although the poster later pointed out that they were not a single parent, they do still live on benefits. I have no gripe with single parents. I do have a 'bee in me bonnet' about people who i believe to be taking advantage of the benefits system.
Could you explain how I'm taking advantage of the benefits system. I would rather claen toilets for a living than live on benefits! If you bothered to read properly its not disposable income it's money cut back from other areas and used to pay bills. Main one being the MORTGAGE, I'm assuming your rent/mortgage comes to less than £500 a month.

But..and round and round we go...
Would you rather be out cleaning toilets for a living whilst your young children are in a nursery, and making barely more (or in some cases less) than you pay for their childcare?

Broken hearted, you posted those figures. I am not responsible for doctoring them. They can be found on page 21.

Obviously I must be misinterpreting the post?

Sorry I've gone off on a right rant there :o I just hate benefit fraud.
I hate benefit fraud too and I think if you really think it's going on there you should report it. You can do it anonymously or even give them a false name and address.

Yes but it gets worse once they reach about 10 and discover KERRANG! channel. My stepson would come in, turn on KERRANG! very loudly so the whole room vibrates ... then go back upstairs.

He'd be ok round mine then, I love Kerrang(even at my age)!!

That's you and you've said in other threads that you are very thifty in daily life enabling you to save up. How long would it take you to save up to go on a 3 week Carribbean holiday staying in your own rented villa with a hire car? These people manage to do that twice a year.

The 2 men I was talking about *******When you've got people like that managing to claim enough money to fund the luxuries they brag about, yet you read about more deserving people on here scrimping and saving just to get by, it just doesn't seem fair.

I would report them to the benefit fraud hotline, but I'm scared of reprocussions due to the connections one of the sons has.

They could be identified from this description. If I were you I would remove it sharpish!;)
