All quiet in here today... hope everyone's being good!

    Hi Tara

I can't believe how good I am being! Yesterday when I got the munchies I nibbled on dates (the container says 27 calories per date, so not bad).

I think one of the things that is helping me is the sunny weather. It lifts my mood and also makes me realise that I shall be wearing summer clothes soon .

I have a meeting at work in the morning and so no time to snack even if I wanted to! I am taking some soup and 2 slices of homemade bread for lunch which will be filling. Then, for the afternoon I've got some Greek yogurt, a handful of granola and some strawberries. For my evening meal, I've got chicken stir fry with rice. If I feel the urge to nibble during the evening, I'll resort to dates or fruit.

I shall be nipping into the supermarket after work and so will have to avoid the chocolate aisle.

    Good for you footymadgal!!!

I am aching today, the gardening at the weekend was pretty strenuous. I had some biscuits :o one of which had chocolate on it, so am feeling annoyed at myself... but the gardening is bound to have burned off lots of calories! :T

Today I have had a boiled egg and a Greek yog with honey, lunch will be one of the little couscous salad pots from M&S (they're 2 for £3, not bad - I normally bring my own healthy lunch but only got back from mum's last last night and CBA going to supermarket this morning) and dinner will be OH's wonderful risotto.

Onwards and upwards fellow challengers!!!!! :j:j:j

    Hello all,
At the weekend I had a family meal at my parents on saturday then at my OH's parents on sunday and had pudding and wine both days. Looking back through my food diary I snacked on malt loaf, an eccles cake, hoola hoops, a hot dog ( at a car boot), and some lemon cake. Yay no chocolate :j but a lot of rubbish in there too:o. Anyway this is a new week and I was fairly good yesterday and very good today so far :D

Hope everyone else is doing well,

    Lxx

I have just finished my first week of no chocolate and succeeded except for one chocolate biscuit. A plate of biscuits was handed around at work and it was just instinctive to go for the chocolate one, I then realised what I had done but as I'd handled it I couldn't put it back! I've lost one pound in weight - yay!

I had a stressful day yesterday though (and it's PMT time) and I really wanted to be naughty. I had to get petrol on the way home from work and normally I would have bought some chocolate at the same time. I really didn't want to give in to the chocolate but I needed something nice. So I bought a packet of liquorice allsorts and ate them all on the way home . Then at about 10 pm I wanted something else sweet and thought I'd have a couple of Caramel Snack a Jack rice cakes (50 calories each) but I must have ended up eating about 6 of them! So I need to make amends today as I want to build on the good progress I've made in the last week.

It's very quiet on here - hope you are all being inspired by the sunshine to be good!

Sady, yes it does saverholic!!! I have banned it from the house now, if it's not there I can't eat it!

I had a fab weekend, lots of sun, lots of exercise and hardly any chocolate. The scales haven't budged but who cares!!! Hopefully they will catch up. My thigh and bum muscles are pleasantly achy from all the cycling and walking I've done.
