Just found this deal with the lowest spec unit comming in at £301 inc. VAT.
Earlier notes suggest that they can be bought for £185. Is this still correct?0 -
I have only just picked up this connection and tried to follow the Dell link. However, when the link opens at what appears to be the pc referred to in this forum, the best price I can achieve is £301.42 inc VAT. Have I missed something or has the offer been amended, do you know please?psybear wrote:Has this been posted yet?
It might be a pricing error - either way it's a great buy at this price.

This offer appeared late last week (Friday?) and stayed all weekend but was pulled by Monday - presumably when someone from Dell got in and realised they'd had shed loads of orders for this system.
Too late I'm afraid! You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
I also got the price of £301.42 *sigh*.The 365 Day 1p Challenge 2025. Member #420

I have tried this several times and keep getting a total price of £301. Any ideas or have they sussed us!0

Well, it looks like we have had it for now, doesn't it? It is a pity really because it would have linked up nicely with another website I found that has some good deals on TFT screens http://www.aria.co.uk/ These are priced favourably against ordinary monitors, I think.Old sins cast long shadows!0

as biglugs said, this offer is over!
Perhaps it's time for the Board guides to move this thread to the subtopic so people know it's finished....Pat_, Divadee?0 -
I bougth a Dell recently and got £58 of the price by not taking the 17" CRT monitor wich I did not want anyway. Had to do it on the phone as there was no way of taking it off online.something missing0

This doesn't look like it's any good if you want to watch videos/play games as it doesn't look like it's got any AGP or PCIe x16 slots for upgraded graphics cards. I've got a machine with one of these Extreme Graphics chipsets and it is very juddery when watching a DivX movie.
Just to warn people!0 -
I expect that this machine won't be great for games - that's why I intend to put in an FX5200 PCI graphics card if I get one.You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0
