Im still also chasing my refund. Their cancellation email clearly states that if you paid by card rather than paypal no funds had been claimed but this is not the case. I have sent them emails and had no response and their customer service is not open today. Im over 200 quid down in my bank. Im not bothered about the tv, I just want my money back!

Even though Pixmania didnt charge you as soon as you ordered this your £200 was reserved by the credit card company it does take a few days for this to show back in your account.

I paid with a debit card and my online account clearly states pixmania have debited my account. Their email says no funds were claimed, but obviously they were. It isnt just showing as being reserved like a preauthorisation, it has cleared on to my account statement.

Has anyone spotted their most recent advertising email?

Question:
How can a 64% reduction be entirely reasonable, yet an 85% reduction is 'deemed vile'.

Seems to me Pixmania are trying to have their cake & eat it.
take screen shots of all offers for litigation.

I got that email too... however, I can do one better... I've noticed Pixmania are currently selling items at 70% discount...(!)

On what planet exactly do they think they can argue that 85% discounted items are obviously "vile" and invalid yet 70% discounted items aren't??! :rotfl: See just one example by clicking HERE

Take screenshots etc. Companies like this seriously make my blood boil. I'm now more confident than ever of getting my TV - so much so, I'll start clearing a space for it. ;)

That's not on! I paid by CC and won't know if the money has been taken until I recieve my next statement. I think I'd better call my bank!!! the more I read about this company, the more I dislike it!!

Has anyone got an e-mail address for this company? I've tried replying to the one that I recieved from them, but it doesn't work. I think we should all bombard them with e-mails. Lets make them work for their 'mistake':rotfl:

I am toying with the idea of dusting off the old loss of bargain site and setting up a site for the reclaim. How many people on here are deadly serious about going through the court?

If you could please forward any emails you have received, especially the verified order emails, plus any screen shots of terms and conditions etc to tbeckett100@gmail.com

don't worry, any personal details will be blotted out if used on the website

I think the best thing is to contact DSG International formally in writing (recorded delivery) - Emailing Pixmania would be a waste of time in my opinion?

Pixmania is owned by the french company Fotovista, which is in turn owned by the UK based Dixons Store Group ie. DSG International plc:

This is from DSG International's website (where Pixmania is clearly listed as one of their businesses):

Pixmania is the only pan-European e-tailer of digital photographic and consumer electronic goods.

It trades in 26 countries through bespoke transactional websites. It has four million customers and 1,600 employees.

Pixmania is already a market leading e-tailer of consumer electronic goods in France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, and the business is growing strongly in all countries in which it has a presence.

In 2006, DSG international acquired a controlling 77% stake in its parent company, Fotovista.

In addition to Pixmania.com, the business includes mypixmania.com (a site specialising in online digital photo processing), primashop.com (childcare equipment) and e-merchant.com (a B2B service site enabling brands and retailers to run e-commerce businesses across Europe).

Sales in 2008/2009, combined with www.dixons.co.uk, were £807.4 million.

Head Office address is:

DSG international plc
Maylands Avenue
Hemel Hempstead
Herts HP2 7TG

Our telephone number is 0844 800 2030 (or +44 844 800 2030 from outside the UK).

All customer issues within the UK can be emailed to customer.services@dsgiplc.com

;)
