Two things are pushing me in the direction of pursuing this:

    1. Seeing all these "70% off" offers suggests this wasn't an obvious misprice.
    2. The very cynical move of offering a £25 off a £150 spend voucher. It makes me wonder whether this whole thing was intentional for three reasons. Firstly, to coin in a whole stash of customer cash to profit off the interest for a week or two; secondly, to increase the footfall on their website and thirdly, to profit when customers use the voucher.

It's a win-win for them....unless people challenge them for breaking the law...

Tom, I'll forward you my emails and screenshots.
  • I don't intend to let it drop yet, I still need to check if the cc payment was taken then refunded though, at the moment I don't know if I'd go as far as court, it depends how things pan out on the journey there, but I'm definately not ruling it out.

I think that if this was seen outside this forum(and i dont mean on hduk)
then their reputation would suffer more:D,people are very aware where they spend their £££....so 1 whiff of foul play i think the public will steer clear:D.....i didnt even know that this thread was still going, but as it is i thought i'd have a say as 1 of the many hurt parties!:T.....so do has anyone seen it outside this forum and what does the top man:cool:think?

Has anyone use their £25 voucher yet? If we win the case and get the TV's then I'm gonna save my voucher for that so I can get a further £25 off the £199.

you think that a firm of solicitors would ensure that they had the forums permission to post before doing so (post 722)

that post now removed , so post 722 is now someone elses by the way

Has anyone who ordered via Paypal still have their order showing as pending, even though it states cancelled at the bottom??
It might just be because the Paypal money hasn't been fully refunded as this type of payment was showing as confirmed by Paypal and funds were taken.

I paid vis paypal, half of the m,oney was already in my paypal account the other half was transfered from my bank account, it was taken instanly, yet I am still waiting for the money transferred from my bank account to be refunded.

So far no cash and No TV.

So i have neither, and before someone says well you wou;dnt have had the cash if you'd have got your TV, that would have been fine, but the money is now tied up somewhere meaning i cant spend it on anythig else.

Im very interested in chasing this up. I am watching very closely to see what everyone else is doing, im not good with wording things in a proper proffesional way, so i will see what other peple do.

I paid through paypal, half from my balance and half on a credit card, the money went on 2-3 days later! Just bear in mind it takes a few days longer to transfer it back to your bank, paypal have to take it from your bank via your direct debit first then when they have the funds it will be sent back to you!

If they didn't do this you could pay someone £10000 then instantly refund it and in theory it would be credited back to your bank account before the initial £10000 left your account if that makes sense!?

Would the solicitors touting publically confirm how the will be paid as I suspect a percentage from the award wouldn't give claimants the loss of bargain sum to pay for the same tv.
