Did you fill in the "get sellers contact info" form (or similar) on ebay? This should give you his address. IIRC, it also sends him yours in return?0

Yes, that's the one I filled, but it didn't send me his address....0 -
I just called the number I got from eBay, asking for the name eBay gave, and the person said they didn't know who that was etc... So is there anyone who'd be willing to call asking for the name I got in the whois of his site, that name is Graham Crossley.. if there's anyone who'd be willing to do this for me, please PM me for the number..

I can't believe you were prepared to hand over £900 to one seller like that.
What a silly thing to say.
What this guy has done is illegal and therefore the police should be involved. This sort of fraud is happening all the time at the moment on ebay.
The sum of money is irrelevant. Would you be saying the same if he bought a HD TV from this guy, who at the time had good feedback, then his rating dropped and he never got his TV.
Con artists are con artists.
This guy needs to be caught, and if it takes police time then so be it. There are a lot of major investigations going on into ebay fraud at present. Do you think that this guy just rips people off on ebay, but lives like a saint in the rest of his life.
Ashok,
I hope you get this resolved. I really think it is a matter for the police.
Good luck.

Would you hand over £900 to a stranger on the promise of goods, I doubt it.
The police have got much better things to do than chase an Ebay scammer. there are rapists and murderers walking the streets who need caging first.Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

and of course all the paperwork to do with speeding motorists,
you do make me laugh!!
there are plenty of people out there who will take advantage of vulnerable people including with the use of ebay. just because you are cautious doesn't mean that everyone has the same standards. occasionally you have to trust a little and the op has realised a £900 mistake. if everyone was as cautious as you then there would be very little crime involving frauds like this.
so shall i hop down the road and tell the old man that has just lost £3k that the police have better things to do other than look for the bogus builder who duped him?.i think not!
this person could be supplementing his drug addiction or perhaps he murdered someone and needs finances to get away from his crimes.
these are only extreme examples of course. and i suggest that the police would rather be involved investigating crime that dealing with run of the mill crap that usually comes along with their job.Give blood - its free0 -
i think the police would be very interested in this muppet because if he is getting away with it on ebay what other pies does he have his fingers inT&C APPLY0

The police will only get involved if they recieve volumes of complaints about this seller and ebay contacts them too.
Ebay tend not to be very cooperative with outside agencies because they want to protect their brand name.
You are deluded if you think the police will drop everything to investigate this scammer.Third time lucky on WW I hope :j
