GOT IT! Got his "real name": David Baker, in Chatham, Kent! Two people show up on 192, but the phone numbers to neither are available.

Even if you track him down, do you honestly think you will get your money back?
I wouldn't be too chuffed if I heard my local police were busy trying to track your seller when there are robbers walking the street freely.
I can't believe you were prepared to hand over £900 to one seller like that.

interestingly, there is a user rsmith2477 registered on ebay!

i'd suggest contacting ALL of the people in the recent transactions for the seller, someone may have contact details

Whether or not we agree that we would have bought codes for a saving of £100 is neither here nor there and not helping the OP.

I would email some of the buyers he has had on his feedback, explain the situation and ask if they have an address for him. Does he take cheques or postal orders for payment? If he does chances someone might have his postal address or could get hold of it.

I would also contact the Police. If nothings done about it there will be plenty more sellers able to rip us off.
