  • Hi Everyone
As I posted last week about our first reply to the cccs DMP letters, was from Lloyds TSB saying they will not accept OH repayment offer via cccs....but on the upside they did freeze interest:j ,Well this morning OH got a response from Capquest on behalf of Egg Loan and they have accepted  ,and thats on the large £19377.00 and yet in the same post he got a letter from Moorcroft on behalf of Egg Credit card saying we have not heard anything so we maybe sending someone round blah blah, and that debt is £2325.00 and of course they have heard from us at all levels and they would have also heard from the cccs by now:p , it annoys my OH when they send him these letters, stating that he has not been in touch with them, when he soooooo has, well thats two replys to the DMP, Lloyds rejecting but freezin interest and Capquest for Egg loan, saying yes.
Will keep posted as we hear, hope everyone else is doing ok and holding on to their sanity..............never had much sanity to begin with myself lol :rotfl: Hugs Michelle

I bet you have already thought of this but...
Have you an authorised OD with your new bank. Could you transfer some of your old overdraft to your new account and pay less interest??
I can't think of anything more constructive other than to wish you load of luck

Do you know what, dim as I am, I hadnt thought of that.

I'm pretty sure I asked for no overdraft when I opened the account, but I'm not 100% sure.

    Off to check that out.

    Thanks Frankie hun x

Your new Account should be a BASIC one, no overdraft, no credit cards, nowt.

You need to give your DMP company a call and get them to add the old overdraft to your dmp :)

My old overdraft is on my CCCS DMP, but if they decrease my limit by £850, and implement unauthorised overdraft rates of almost 30%, how will I ever repay it

And it is a basic account, no overdraft or credit card.

I do have a debit card, is that allowed?

Don't worry about it luv, it's on it's way to being defaulted and passed to collection, perfectly normal, and although interest will be added for now once it's in collections it will probably be frozen and removed, you can ask them to pass it on sooner if you like, or give your DMP peeps a call and ask them to give the bank a ring for you to either stop it or get it passed on for you :)

I was just wondering how the rest of the DMP newbies are getting on.

The thread's been a bit quiet recently
