Aren't you lucky. Apparently I'll be 145 when my debts are repaid :rotfl:

  • Please can anyone advise me.
My 13 year old son took a call from Lloyds TSB this morning 8.05am, where upon a foreign sounding lady accused him of being me and hiding from my responsibilities.
I took the call and was rather rude to the caller who put on a recorded message asking me to contact Lloyds TSB from Monday to Friday. I intend to ring them tomorrow knowing they will not be there and leaving them a message saying they are not available to deal with their customers.
Who can I complain to about these callers. I have the facility to record all incoming call conversations in their entirity due to a faulty answer phone.
A caller from Morgan Stanley yesterday was really awful
    Any advise appreciated
  • I would suggest you approach Trading Standards as they are in serious breach of the Data Protection Act by revealing any information to your son. Also it’s a Sunday! Firstly write to them requesting they remove all contact numbers from their records, they are legally obliged to do this, if they fail you can report then to Trading Standards for a big fat fine :)

I start my DMP next month, but it's all getting to me, it really is...

I phoned the nursing agency I work for a few minutes ago and they said Morgan Stanley have been phoning ALOT and asking lots of questions about me. Obviously they're not allowed to say but it's still a nightmare. Now they'll all know I'm struggling.

I don't even know the employees from the agency as I deal with them over the phone.

Oh L, how awful for you love.

I think all of us newbies are having a tough time in one way or another.

I dread the postman coming, and the phone ringing. As I've said in previous posts, life isn't good at the mo. One company rings my mobile at least 4 or 5 times every day, Bank Holidays and weekend included.

I think we've all just got to weather the storm and stick with it. I'm told things improve as the months go on.

    Here's hoping ehh

Has anyone any idea what I can do about our bank reducing our OD by £850?

The APR if we dont bring our OD within limits by 14th Spetember will go up from 7%to almost 30%.

The more I think about it, the more stressed I'm getting.

We will never be able to repay at this rate

  • Hi - morning to everyone. Posted my SOA for first time yesterday. Debts (unsecured) £54500, £36k in my name. OH does not know how much in debt we are - thinks around £20/25k. We have never missed any repayments but things have to got to the tightest position possible.

My question is could I enter into a DMP on my own for my debts & leave my husband's out of the equation?

    Thanks
