I have always written everything down [bit obsessed really], I just got a notebook and sectioned each page into syns, free food, healthy extras then sectioned into days of week. Last time I even carried on after I got to target, it was when I stopped writing things down that I started to lose the plot [that and being put on meds]. This time is the same, getting slightly obsessed again and writing every little thing down
helps me though.
Much better syns today,
B - weetabix [bs] milk [a] coffee
L - 2 mini WHOLEMEAL pitta [much tastier than white] [7 syns] just checked online & wholemeal pittas are less syns than white 3 1/2 as opposed to 4, pickle [1 syn], chopped tom & cue, 1 & half tomatoes, cucumber sticks, babybel [a], muller
T - hope to have sw chips, egg, beans, toms sauce [1syn]
Snacks - banana, pineapple
Syns - 9 :TIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
Keep the Faith All

Don't be frightened of doing green days (or red)
EE is a fantastic plan and is designed to fit in with families & make life in general a bit easier, BUT Green & red are the original plans and a lot of people find that they have better weight losses on those plans.
Personally I prefer EE but when i fancy a pasta bake i have a green day so that I can have 2 cheese choices.
I like to pick & choose to suit my mood.
All the plans work. You just have to find a way to make them work for you .
JoHi everyoneNot been around for a week or two. Hope you've all been doing well
I did fab last week, lost 4lb. Made the mistake of bringing curly wurlys and cereal bars into the house this week and only lost .5lbs at wi today as was snacking on them instead of fruit. Blimey those Kellogs high fibre bars really didn't like me. Loads of terrible wind and tummy cramps so nice as they were I'm sworn off cereal bars again. Think my naughty treat will always be the blue cheese. Um num num.
A friend recommended I try a green week (I've only done EE so far) because I hardly eat any meat. Am worried that having extra HE's will put the weight I've lost back on but will give it a try for a week. Like tonight - can't believe I was able to have my skimmed milk as HExA and then blue cheese with my dinner and earlier 3 ryvita as a snack as 2 HExB's. Am back to how I was feeling at the start - can I really eat all this?? If I can then green is the way for me0 -
Well it's my 3rd day of SW and I have done a green day today:
B. 2xWeetabix (HEB)
250ml Semi Skimmed Milk (HEA)
L. 2xWholemeal Bread (HEB)
Laughing Cow cheese triangles (HEA)
Tomatoes
D. Jacket Potato
Baked beans in tomato sauce
Salad
1 tbsp extra light mayo (0.5 syns)
Snacks Fruit, Muller Light
Treated myself to a starbucks skinny latte (9 syns)!!!!!!!!
Enjoying the SW so far just hope the weigh in next week goes well.

Just wanted to agree with what joey-lou said about not being afraid of the other 2 plans as they definitely do work. I love green and red days, still prefer them to EE although I like having the option of doing EE for when I fancy a roast dinner or a meat curry and rice. Doing green days makes me eat products like quorn more often whereas if I did EE all the time i'd probably chose red meat like mince instead which, while I love, i find it very hard to digest. Trying all the plans gives you a chance to see what you like and what works for you in practice.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0

Hi yamamama, what size skinny latte did you have? The largest one (venti) is 8 syns on all plans so you've got at least 1 syn to spare there. Don't forget in future that you can use a HEA on your latte if you get a tall one, making it essentially free. Or get a grande, use a HEA against it and syn 1.5 for the difference. Apologies if you already know this but "free" starbucks is one of my favourite things about being on SW:o:rotfl::starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

Hi Claire, I know they are, but it's not CONVENIENT is it? Either they should be on every page or (and I am going to do this) stuck on the front of the book. You can't be forever flipping back to find page 7 or at least I can't. Actually, the other day I wrote out a list of all the superspeed foods that I like, then I left it on the windowsill and when I came home obviously the cat disagreed with my choices cos she'd been sick on the list . I do keep trying to make my life easier because, as you say, the whole book is very confusing. Actually, I suppose if I used the book more I would get used to the symbols, I tend to do it all online.
:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

I made the Kofta curry tonight from a slimming world magazine (can't remember which edition and its still in the kitchen), can't say I was very impressed i'm afraid.
Here's my food for today:
Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B) and a plum
Snack - banana
Lunch - salad, jacket potato topped with bacon and veggies in tomato sauce, salad cream (2 syns). melon, grapes, yogurt, lemon curd (1)
Tea - kofta curry (1 syn as I used cornflour to thicken), rice, salad. Grapes for pudding.
The salad with tea was yummy, I chopped some cherry toms into quaters, finely diced some de-seeded cucumber and half a red onion, mixed it all together and dressed it with balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. I do the same when I make mexican but also add a few chopped jalapenos.
I'll probably have a couple of pink & white wafers for supper (5 syns)0
