hi everyone,
not posted on here in a long time.
i started sw in july last year at a starting weight of 12st 4, my current weight (weigh in on a monday night) was 10st 11.5 at my lowest I have been 10st 9. Since November time I have been up and down hovering around the same weight, very frustrating!
I no myself I have not been following the plan very well but I seem to have lost all my enthusiasm! I want to lose another 7.5 pounds to a 2 stone loss then maybe another half stone after that!
I seem to struggle with evening meals, seem to be having the same thing over and over!
Today i've had
B: Banana, Apple and FF Natural Yogurt
S: Apple
L: Ham Sandwich (B) and some mango
HEA is milk in my tea.
Planning on chicken stirfry for tea. No syns as of yet, might have a small glass of wine tonight.
So today is a new day and i'm hoping I can get my head back in to it!0 -
Hi peeps, its WI here tonight:eek: No idea what day i'm having as I think that will depend on what i decide on for dinner after WI but so far:
B: Scrambled egg with ham & mushroom
S: Melon, coffee
L: Hi Fi Bar (HEB), Shape zero yoghurt
Not very exciting but i'm just using up what I have left in the house before going shopping tomorrow.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

Hey all,
Stayed the same this week - but considering the week i had and the muck up with the weekend i wasn't disapponted!
In group yesterday we discussed a soup that is extremely easy and costs pennies for all you MSE!!! They also said another group used it - had it everyday for a week and all lost 3-5lbs that week! Here it is:
Tin of baked beans (tesco value = 44p)
2 x tins of chopped tomatoes (tesco value = 35p each = 70p)
Tin of carrots (tesco value = 18p)
Pickled onion (jar of tesco value = 31p (i used 5 as they were small))
Cook all in pan and blitz! Simple! Tastes pretty good too!
Totals £1.63 which is probably enough for 4/5 mugs or 3 bowls - obviously depends on how much you eat!!! 40p per portion is brilliant value for money!0 -

but my weights been all over this week since doing that and other toning excercises
i dropped a pound then day after went back up that pound
day after that i dropped 3 llb, then this morning im back up 2 llb
so i havent a clue what loss im having or weight i am now its fluctuating up and down daily by considerable amounts
is that normal though the weight fluctations?
It's perfectly normal for your body weight to fluctuate daily, even hourly. That is why you should only get weighed once a week, on the same day, same time and wearing roughly the same clothes.
Hide your scales in the loft or let OH put them in the boot of the car so you can't use them so often. You may find yourself getting so depressed when they say you've gained that you lose the plot entirely. Equally there are people who are so chuffed to see a good loss that they rush out and have a take-away as a treat for being 'so good'either way it's not very helpful
I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Hi Guys
Ive just joined SW online so just getting to grips - Ive had 11 syns today but struggling to incorporate as many superfree foods as I should! Also, question - when it says level tbsp how level is level - I know it's not going to be heaped but the spoon isnt that deep - 2 syns for a level tbsp of clover light and 2 for a level tbsp of lighter heinz salad cream seems quite a big for a tiny amount unless Im measuring in a mean way (which would be better than over laoding!).
Is it really really bad to reserve 5 syns a day for the weekend?
Thanks - look forward to joining in more as I learn more!

Has anyone tried making Marion's breakfast rice in the microwave? I have my brekkie at work so it would be good if I could cook it there. I do a big pan and take some cold but I do like a warm breakfast. Been at OH's parents for tea today so had to save most of my syns for that but wasn't too bad this week! I still feel like I'm eating too much but I've had no bread or crisps and only a tiny bit of choccie since I started and I can see and feel the difference. wi is tomorrow so hopefully it will be good news!!! I'm having an EE day today:
Breakfast - porridge (HEA&B) and banana
Snack - plum
Lunch - small jacket potato, large mixed salad, ham, egg, salad cream (2)
LF natural yogurt with lemon curd (1)
Snack - small portion of brekkie rice with mixed berries and pear and LF natural yogurt.
Tea - 2 fairly low fat sausages(6), new potatoes, carrots, cabbage, gravy (2)
Pudding - Pear, banana, grapes.0
