    :hello:
    Hi all
I dont know if any of you remeber me, but I'm baaaaaaaack!
I am now out of refuge, living in a nice lil 2 bed flat about 15 mins walk from the beach :D
I am uber happy at the moment and well up for some extra easy weightloss!
Joined a group on Thursday, bought a 2nd hand 'your shape' game for the wii for a tenner, so I'm raring to go! :j
Started on Thursday as I done and online shop and had it delivered Wednesday evening.
I'll try and pop in every day and post my meal plans, I want to start a blog too, anyone reccomend a good blog site?

BF: 2 rashers bacon (no fat) 1 dry fried egg, 2 plum tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans.

Lunch: Jacket tattie, tuna (made with salad cream, mayo = 2 syns) but only had half, half a plate of salad, cucumber and onion. (1syn)

Tea: Having, HM burgers (seasoned with garlic, black pepper, onion, parsley) SW chips and loadsa salad. Brown roll HEb, 2 dairly lea light slices HEa. will have it with 1TBSP mayo(0.5syn), 1TBSP Nandos peri peri(0.5syn), and 1TBSP salad cream(1.5syn) for the salad.
Yes, I remember you too - and that you were having a really tough time. So pleased to hear things are going well for you now. Welcome back!!

I havnt posted for nearly 2 weeks. I was half a stone away form target. Im embarrassed to say its now closer to a stone away now :o:o. It seems the closer I get to target the more I go off plan.

The good new is im feeling good about getting to plan and Ive started going to Zumba once a week and considering going twice. Its the price thats stopping me, I cant really afford £8 extra each week. But it is so much hard work but fun. I recommend it to anyone. My class is all ages, shapes and sizes.

Hi Nic, I sympathise with you; I have been very close since CHRISTMAS but got stuck then and am constantly losing a few pounds and then gaining them again. Sometimes I stop SW-ing and try something else (but I stick with the forum) and then I try again. I just get bored thinking 'what shall I eat?' that I haven't eaten fifty times. Totally egged-out, breakfast cereal just doesn't do it - however, I know I can lose so I am back on it. Good luck anyway, keep posting.

Thanks Inazuma. Im the same, I might not post but I keep reading posts for ideas.
Ive been doing SW off an on since March 08, have lost 3st then put it on again. I like to follow Sw or close to it as its the healthiest and most varied ive even eaten. but even with the meal ideas im getting a bit sick of it and thats my problem. Im sick of tomato based sauces and tiny see trough bread lol. Even if im off plan and have a gain, most nights I find myself making SW inspired choices without trying, so I would gain so much more if I wasnt doing this.

My new approach is to enjoy SW main meals and keep the rest healthy and balanced and combine it with exercise. That way im having full sized wholemeal bread but no mayo or anything. By having the bigger bread I dont feel restricted in anyway. I think thats what kept getting me down. I also hated the thought of spending syns on bread.
So by keeping it close to the SW plan but not worrying all the time and combining that with Zumba (its the first excerise class ive really enjoyed) im hoping to get to a healthy weight and stay there because im not panicking about it and targets etc.

i hope that all makes sense

Well done to everyone who has dropped on the scales this week.

I feel this week slipping away and I'm finding it hard to pull it back. Thur, Fri & yesterday I have exceeded my syns... more than doubling them ... I don't think I will be able to be syn free for the rest of the week to make up for it. I really want to drop 2lb this week too. Does anyone have any tips, advice?

    Today... EE
B - 2 little toasts (HEb), Frylite Egg, Mushrooms, 1 rasher of lean bacon and beans.
    L - Ham salad with H/M potato salad (1)
    D - Beef Chilli (3) Brown Rice & salad
    Snx - ?????

Ooo also MrsMacawber.. what do you do with kholrabi ? I've seen it in the shops but I am too scared to buy any.. what sort of taste does it have?

ok you all know my script by now,and i shall say it again, don't stress about the things you've eaten, try to live life like your dog, they live in the now, things that happened a week ago they don't worry about, they just remember what made their leader happy or cross, try it.
Right now i have holes in my sofa where my puppy ate it,she won't remember what she did to make me cross, but she will remember having a mouthful of foam and me yelling,am i going off on a tangent?
What will happen if you lose that extra weight? Focus on that, get out that photo,or go try those pants on that you're struggling to get into, try to imagine yourself at the weight you want to be at,and how long it will take you to get there,if you go without those Almond Slices for a couple weeks and the end result being able to get into those skinny jeans (my scenario) will it be worth it? if the answer is yes, then get back onto plan,if the answer is no,then enjoy those Almond Slices guilt free, and have an extra one for me,i shall wiggle my skinnier a*se in my skinnny jeans :D
And take hugs, your friends love you fat or thin xxxxxxxxx

I love kholrabi raw.... just peeled and sliced/chopped, or steamed -it has a very mild gentle flavour -sort of mooli/swede -ish :rotfl:-I bet that is as clear as mud :p . Raw is best as its refreshing -I don't eat raddishes as they give me indigestion...this has a similar texture -so extra crunch for my salad :D

Thanks Claire, laura, circes and everyone for your advice. I will pay closer attention to the HE portion sizes and make sure i'm splitting them properly.

Bad news - Shepherd pie is out of the window -just been invited to a world cup BBQ.

First big hurdle as a SWer - what do i eat?? :(

Already had my HeB brown bread for brekkie so no bread or buns allowed. I guess low fat meat is ok for an EE day - chicken skewers or lean beef burgers, and salad.

But all the other stuff like potato salad and pasta salad seem like they might be full of syns.

So my question for the day for the SW experts (that's you lovely lot ;)) is how do you SW a bbq??

Any advice would be more than welcome! I have only used up 3.5 syns for the day so far, so anything low syn would be great (and this includes drinks as I have no idea what to drink when i'm out)

    thanks so much!!!!

Susan6780 - Thank you for responding to my cry for help. You are right of course... I'll stop mythering over what is past and move on... I will be good and do some exercise to help cancel out my over indulgence... after all.. yes I do want to be back to my skinny self and that is more important at the moment than ice-cream and chips.

MrsMcawber - Thank you... I'm going to be brave this week and buy some and try it raw and steamed. I like swede... don't know what mooli tastes like so I think I will like it. Come to think about it I used to see the ladies in Croatia grating it to sell at the markets so I'll give it a go.
