Anyone know how many syns are in Amoy Straight to wok succulent szechuan tomatoe stir fry sauce? Its 160g but i only had 2 teaspoons?.........Trying to work out if I am allowed anything else tonight ;)

The whole thing is 9 syns :) A teaspoon = 5ml/g roughly so i'd calculate the syns at about 0.5 for 2 tsps :)

Does that sound about right fellow SWders??
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

oopsy - told myself I have to post everyday so I keep an eye on what I' eating - lasted all of 2 days befreore I forgot so will try again

    Yesterday - EE

    HEB= Weetabix x 2
    HEA -= Semi Skimmed Milk

Breakfast = 3 x weetabix (HEB + 3 syns), mlk from HEA, banana
    Snack - 2 x satsumas, apple
Lunch - Ham and egg salad with FF dressing, muller light
    Snack, banana
Dinner - Gammon, sweet potato wedges, green beans
Muller light, welsh cake (6 syns)

Hot choc (4 syns) so 13 syns all told

Today - am so proud of myself - had a meeting in London so had early start and would normally have had bacon butty on train and big lunch, followed by takeaway on expenses when I got home. Instead I had a green day

    HEA - Skimmed Milk x 2
    HEB - Weetabix, Alpen bars

Breakfast - weetabix, milk from HEA, banana
    Snack - muller light, banana
    Lunch - Salad + egg
Snack - alpen bars + hot choc (4)
Dinner - Quorn bolognaise (2) and pasta
    fruit salad

So 6 for today (altho I did have one percy pig that I refuse to count)

Did my mini WI yesterday morning and have lost 1.75 pounds which is ok I guess - I've never been one of those people who lose loads on their first week.

Keep up the good work girls!

:eek:Could anyone help me with syns on beefburgers.
I got them from butcher so no wrappers.
They are sold as steakburgers and I grilled and ate 2 with mushy peas!!
Thought if grilled and steakburger they would be lean, not too much fat dropped out on grilling. I wasn't counting any syns on Extra Easy. Should I??

Can anyone help me with this I'm panicking!!!!!!!

They'll definitely need to be synned because as you say the meat is unlikely to be extra lean. Even draining the fat off lean meat doesn't make it syn free I'm afraid. it's impossible to say the syn values for sure without knowing the ingredients and weight but assuming they will be high % meat coming from butcher I would guesstimate them as

Basic/Non Branded Foods Beef, burgers, luxury/premium, grilled 85g average

Weigh in tonight and i lost 2lbs on my first week. Considering i fell off the wagon a couple of times that's not too bad. I'm hoping if i'm strict this week i'll get 3lbs. Time to get exercising more often!!! x

Susan, I recently discovered a chicken, tomato and rosemary recipe from the BBC good food website. It's delicious, in fact it's now one of our favourites! I hope you enjoy yours as much!

    My menu for today (EE):

    Breakfast - Porridge (HEA&B) and a banana
Lunch - salad, couscous, egg, slald cream (2)
Tea - at OH's parents, apparently we're having fillet steak but we've been pre-warned it will be cremated! I've no idea what we'll have with it and there will be a pudding too....hopefully fruit for me!
Snacks - Loads of fruit! I've got a nectarine, 2 plums and 4 satsumas.

Off out for a meal tonight to celebrate my nieces birthday - I've eaten out more since doing sw than I ever have in my life!! Testing my willpower :o Part of me thinks I'll just have whatever I fancy but I know if I do that I'll regret it tomorrow - my weight loss is soooo slow anyway and atm I'm feeling like I'll never lose this last stone so will go for something that fits with EE. Probably steak with jacket and beans and hopefully some salad. Last 3 days I've used up all of my 15 syns which is unusual for me - I'm hoping I'm pre menstrual otherwise I'm just turning into a little piggy :D
