I've got the pickled onion soup on the cooker as we speak. I will let you know my verdict later.

I had a whole (well bar the bit my son had) Padana pizza (40 syns) for lunch, followed by a semi freddo reale (not on the syn finder)...oops. It was delish though, and I am eating pickled onion soup for tea to make up for it! I also did aqua aerobics and a long walk this morning so hopefully not too much damage.

Just tasted the soup and it is yummy. Highly recommended. I might try having it every day for lunch with some ryvitas and dairylea triangles or something. I think that would be good.

Will definitely be cooking up some pickled onion soup on Sunday!:D

I'm sure the long walk and aqua aerobics will outweigh the pizza and freddo reale. :D And as my Consultant would say it is only one meal out of 21!!:)

What is a freddo reale by the way?? Sounds yummy!

It's one of their mini 'dolcetti'- a little pud with a coffee. The semi freddo is a little scoop of ice cream with praline and nougat in it. It is delish and perfect for me as I struggle to eat a whole pud after a big meal.

Sounds super yummy!:D I always use to eat big puddings; but since I've been doing Slimming World; I generally have a muller light yogurt for dessert at home; so like you struggle with the big desserts when I go
    out.:(

    Morning all.

i fancy trying the pickled onion soup also as it sounds yummy. I dont have any tinned carrots though and they give me the boke :p. Has anyone used fresh carrots and how many did you use? I have loads to use up anyway.

I reckon a week of the soup using scan bran to dip instead of bread will give me a good boost lol.
