I've had a horrible day :( Eleven of my sons dvds went missing last night and we knew exactly who had taken them so I had to go and confront him and his drunken mother at 8am this morning (yes she was already drunk at that time). Of course they denied it but after lots of to and froing all day we finally got the dvds back at 6.30pm. In the meantime my son got a punch in the face at school for 'falsely' accusing the lad who took them!!! My stomach was in knots all day (I hate confrontation) so skipped breakfast and lunch but managed to have some tea. Then when it was all over I treated myself to a 21g bar of dairy milk :D
I don't know why but him upstairs seems to enjoy giving me extra stress when I've got enough going on already!! When I was losing my big sis to cancer 2 years ago my daughter had an awful experience with a lad and now my Dad is sick with cancer it's my sons turn :(
Still tomorrows a new day and it's EE day :) I love EE days!!
Hope you all have a great, hopefully hot, weekend.

Karen (((((big hugs))))) kids can be so cruel I hope your son sorts it soon

Yesterday ended up being a green day

    B- weetabix

Lunch - fitatta with mixed veg 1 slice of bread (3 syns)

Tea - quorn grill new pots veg and gravey (1 syn)

Snacks 3 rocky roads from marks 7.5 syns, 3 pears, 2 vodkas (5 syns)

came home with munchies courtesy of sitting in the pub and had 2 slices of toast with spread (1 syn) was so glad it ended up as a green and not ee cos i needed food when i got in

Ok so slightly over on the syns but could have been a lot worse. Every time it was my turn to go to the bar i cam back with just slimline tonic and forgot the vodka to save syns and because my friend was on a mission with doubles and i didn't want a hang over as we are off camping in half hour x x x

Hello everyone, wondering if I could join in? I just signed up to SW yesterday - am doing it online as I can't get to a meeting at the moment!

I have about 1 1/2 stone to lose - am 11 stone, 5'3 and would love to get under 10 stone again.

So I have done ww in the past with little success tbh but am used to counting points, so this EE plan....well, I just can't figure out how it will work! No limits on pasta, rice, lean meat....all sounds too good to be true!

I have a couple of questions - having read through (most of) this thread :o - why are many of you alternaing between red/green/EE days? Am I meant to be doing this too?

Also - I drink quite a lot of tea (maybe 4/5 cups a day) - I have measured out my 350ml of skimmed milk for the day, so I take it that's my HEA for the day? If I have more milk (say, on cereal) does that get counted as a syn?

I assume I can 'save' my syns up through the week for a few glasses of wine over the weekend? ;)

Sorry that these questions are probably stupid - I'm just trying to get this all straight in my head so I don't !!!! this up! Any advice you can give me woud be so greatly appreciated!

    WELCOME:hello:

Although it is as much as you want don't fall into the trap a lot of us have done and eat mega loads eat til you are comfy don't over eat

I have a couple of questions - having read through (most of) this thread :o - why are many of you alternaing between red/green/EE days? Am I meant to be doing this too? Depends EE is easier but I personally don't lose a lot of weight with all those carbs so throw in a few red day to help my weight loss

Also - I drink quite a lot of tea (maybe 4/5 cups a day) - I have measured out my 350ml of skimmed milk for the day, so I take it that's my HEA for the day? If I have more milk (say, on cereal) does that get counted as a syn? yes you need to syn the rest of your milk

I assume I can 'save' my syns up through the week for a few glasses of wine over the weekend? ;)Yes you can but make sure you have some syns each day at least five each day x x have a look at another tipple to wine vodka is 2.5 syns compared to wine which is close to 6 per glass x x says the expert ;)

Sorry that these questions are probably stupid - I'm just trying to get this all straight in my head so I don't !!!! this up! Any advice you can give me woud be so greatly appreciated! No question is stupid not here

have written the answers above hope that helps a bit x x

Hi and welcome. I would suggest trying to go to at least one class to get the plans explained properly and to get your pack, it would be about £9.50 but the amount of info you would leave with is invaluable.

I would suggest sticking to one plan at first until you undrstand it. They don't seem to talk about red or green very much but they are both good plans and Ee is just a mix of both.

anyways instead of milk as i use milk for coffe through day
i was just gonna sit and nibble them dry from a bowl, but had a banana and custard ML too and thought ooohhhh, so poured some of that onto the cereal
it was absolutely gorgeous lot better than milk
and was definately more satisfying than a slice of toast

The weetabix crunchy bran sounds lovely - I was at the shop looking for HE cereals this week and ended up with weetabix, which tbh I'm not keen on. I don't remember seeing the crunchy bran so I'll go to a different store and have a look. Could someone check the sugar content on 100gm for me before I make a special trip please? (I have diabetes so try to keep the sugar content low).

I'm on a green day today - I made a veggie 'meatloaf' yesterday which is also great for snacking on. Contains cheese and breadcrumbs (2 HEB's in the whole lot, but I won't eat it all!)

    Food plan for today

    B grabbed some meat loaf
L cheesy mug shot and salad
D Veggie meat loaf, mashed carrot and swede, broccoli, synned gravy.

Snacks: meatloaf, pineapple, stewed rhubarb (synned)

Evening munchies - 1 ryvita mini (4s) small wine (6s) VLF cottage cheese

    Milk in drinks HEA

Good point about the wine - I do like a small glass in the evening when watching TV, but I might swap to vodka occasionally to save syns.
