question re the HEb think its b lol

im allowed 28g of muesli plus scan bran, i dont do scan bran
can i have more muesli and if so how much extra cos 28g isnt much lol
if not what could i have instead of the scan bran?

    thnks xxx

Fraid not, it doesn't work like that. I've been having Weetabix Crunchy Bran as you can have 42g and that gives you a really big bowlful of cereal. Top with some yoghurt and chopped fruit and you've got a great breakfast.

Sorry but this isn't correct. You need to be really careful as fat free doesn't necessarily mean syn free. There are several fat free yoghurts that still have syn values because they are high in sugar eg yeo valley, rachel's organic and nom.

Hi everyone, have been lurking again - quick question - is anyone else on iron tablets and have you found they interfere at all with your weight?

I am on iron tablets and haven't really noticed that they make any difference. They can make you constipated though, which may make someone weigh heavier (they don't make me consitpated though).

Is the crunchy bran nice? I've not tried it.

Edit - is stewed rhubarb a HE? I looked but could only find it in the syns.
You can have tons (well, 454g) of stewed rhubarb as a HEB. I love rhubarb season, even as a syn you can have loads for minimum syns :j
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

It's probably frowned upon but I would substitute a ryvita for the scan bran. I did once buy scan bran, back when I first started SW the first time around. When I saw the heb list with things like "2 weetabix and one scan bran" I thought they all had to be in the bowl with the milk - it was VILE :eek::eek: and Ive never touched it since. I don't mind ryvita with lots of marmite rammed into the little dimples :D

Not hugely high - the Yeo Valley ones range from 3 syns to 4.5 syns for a 450g carton depending on flavour but the Rachel's Organics are 7 to 8 syns for the same size
