I often have a banana with a yogurt for my brekky so I panicked when I read that they weren't!
ooooh thanks for correcting me! It was my consultant that told me they weren't super free, I guess she must have meant speed food! That's great for me too as I much prefer to have abanana for brekkie with my porridge than any other fruit.0 -
MMM, tomato pasta n sauce cooked up then a whisked egg poured over and cooked again until set, delish!

Mmm loving the sunshine......and it's reduced my appetite!
Today's food plan -
Red day
B - Wholemeal bread (heb) phili extra light mini tub (2 syns)
L - Tuna, lettuce, onion, cucumber, tomatoes, ff vinaigrette
D - Salmon, veggies or salad
Snacks - melon, pineapple, apple, clementines, Muller corner crunch yogurt (7 syns)
Enjoy the sunny weekend........you never know when we'll get another one!!0 -
Hi guys, another green day here today:
B: 28g Bran Flakes(HEB1), unsweetened soya milk (HEA1), coffee
L: Quorn spaghetti bolognese (leftover from last night)
SW chips, quorn dippers (2.5 syns), peas, sweetcorn, curry sauce (2.5 syns)
Snacks have been pineapple, and I will probably have a Hi Fi Bar (HEB2) after dinner.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
Red day here today....
B - scrambled egg on 1 small wm bread (half HE), plus some fresh pineapple
L - 2 slices cooked ham, lettuce, tomato, LF cott cheese
Snack - big bowl stewed rhubarb (2 syns)
D - chicken in HM spicy pumpkin sauce, with courgettes, broccoli and new potato (half HE)
Evening munchies - ryvita minis (HE) quark and grated cheddar dip (HE) sm glass wine (6 s)
plus 250 mls milk in coffees (HE)
I'm aiming for one third super free food with each meal even though I'm doing red and green days. It seems to be working in that a meal sees me right through to the next and I don't get starving and raid the biscuit barrel!
My jeans also seem to be a bit sloppier... but maybe that's wishful thinking!I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
hello!!!
Today has been a BAD day
B - 28g Nestle W/G clusters (part of heb*) with milk (hea) and 1 x ryvita w/g crackerbread with 1.5 tsp of lemon curd (1.5syns)
L - Ham with tomatoes and cucumber followed by melon and raspberry fruit salad
S - banana, cranberry hi fi bar and 3 x mini babybell (hea2), chocolate cluster (2)
D (this is where my problems started!) Chicken breast (roasted) with chinese sweet and sour vegetables (8 syns!) Now normally this would be ok as would have taken my syns to 11.5 BUT i ended up "tasting" a handful of chips

GRRR I'm v mad with myself as this was meant to be Speed food Week!!
Also, I have just discovered that Nestle Clusters are no longer a Healthy Extra!!!! Nooooooooooooo! Surely things cannot get any worse for me!!
Mind you - 2moro i am embarking on a 4 mile charity walk for cancer research - now it doesnt seem alot but it will be in 25 degree heat and some of us are wearing full costumes! (my friend is dressed as a crocodile!) So maybe the impulsive chip consumption will be well n truly burned off!!! (Hopefully!)All hail to the sale!!!!!!

Well done on the clothes getting looser. I think I love that even more than seeing the scales move!Vixie_Pixie wrote: »hello!!!

Good luck with the charity walk. I definitely think that will burn of a few chips. Well done on doing it for such a good cause.
I'm trying to have a speed food week too, and I've committed to counting all my food, including all my syns, on the online food diary. I'm hoping for a good loss this week. I need to lose another 4lb to get my 10% and I'd ideally love to do that this week, although I know it's a big ask!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Thank you very much! My colleagues do it every year as a tribute to one of the ladies they worked with. We always dress up as she would have found it really funny! I never knew her but she was a great friend to lots of people and loved by many and many people will lose someone they care about because of that awful disease.
I started my speed week really well and its just gone downhill! You sound like you are doing far better than me! Good luck!!!All hail to the sale!!!!!!

Thanks. I'm doing Race for Life next month as sadly a few friends lives have been touched by cancer recently. I'm not sure whether I'm going to run or walk it but hopefully we'll raise lots of pennies.
Speed week is going okay, although I've no idea whether I'll get anywhere close to my 10%.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator
