Slimming World - Extra Easy weight loss!!

Hi
I've been lurking around this board for ages, reading your food diaries and your great weigh in losses!
I'm going to start doing the slimming world diet from home tomorrow, with the books from when I joined quite a while ago. I would like to attend meetings but just can't afford the time or the money at the moment!
Not sure whether to stick to red & green days which I know or to give EE a try?!?
It would be great to come on and get some support as I have a long way to go, looking forward to getting to know you all0 -
Hi and welcome MrsIwanna - Iam new to this thread myself.
I have old books too which don't have EE. I really liked the idea but found after day one, it wasn't worth it for me as i'm not a regular meat eater - so i stick to green with the extra HEs and have the odd red day as a treat when i do want loads of meat!
Maybe try a day out (or try to plan a menu) and see what you sway towards?A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Well done MrsMCawber!:T
I usually cut up a whole box of strawberries and take them to the cinema - yummy!:D0 -
I totally went over my sins last night. Went for a girly evenong, and had more wine than planned and then a pizza! I am really mad at myself.
My weight in is on tuesday....if I dont have any sins till then do you think I can pull it round? Or any other ideas?
Last weekend I had a Hen Night on the Saturday and I gave myself the evening off, had pizza for dinner, drank a fair amount (albeit spirits and diet mixers) then had cheesey chips to top it all off. Sunday morning, when everyone else was mopping up the night before with fry ups I got back on the wagon, was also good Mon, Tues and Wednes and I lost 1.5lb at WI so it is totally possible!aliscrapper wrote: »Well done MrsMCawber!:T
I usually cut up a whole box of strawberries and take them to the cinema - yummy!:DI am jealous of this! I miss stuffing myself with fruit. I have found that while I am breastfeeding I really have to limit my fruit intake to 2-3 pieces a day or it upsets Henry's little tummy. Usually when I'm on a healthy eating mission I eat tons, so this has been a challenge for me!

I hate spending money on those silly prices as well, so it saves a fortune. I could smell the popcorn and secretly hoped someone would choke on some

Welcome MrsIwannaYou'll find great support and help from the lovely ladies on this thread
Have decided I might still buy the Uncle Bens Light sweet and sour sauce. It made up enough for 4 nice sized dinners for me, at 13 syns a jar is only around 3.5 syns for the dinner so after the initial *gasp* at the syns because I thought I would scoff half the jar, by the time I added onions, quorn bean sprouts it really bulked out. Am waffling now aren't I ?:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin0 -

i have a question i wonder if Consultant may be able to answer pls - or anyone more knowledgeable than me really lol
ok so stock cubes are all listed as syn free
when i cook a roast chicken i save all the juice and fat and put the whole lot in the freezer - when i need to use it i leave it to defrost for about 5 mins then im able to lever the whole layer of fat off in one solid block so all im left with is pure chicken jelly
would i be able to use that when making the syn free onion gravy or to flavour cous cous without having to syn it ? theres no fat there ?
the stock cubes are a little artifical and always so salty imo
many thanks - hope ive explained it ok:j MFi3 wannabee :j
