I totally went over my sins last night. Went for a girly evenong, and had more wine than planned and then a pizza! I am really mad at myself.

My weight in is on tuesday....if I dont have any sins till then do you think I can pull it round? Or any other ideas?

Everyone has time's where they fall of the waggon - don't give yourself a hard time.

When I've fallen off the waggon I try and eat as many speed symbols as I can and sometimes if I'm lucky the good days outweigh the bad and I either stay the same or manage a small loss.:D

My Consultant said a while back that drinking green tea helps weight loss. :) I've tried desperately to drink it but unfortunately don't like the taste of it.:(
    Hi,
I recommend trying tetley's green Tea with lemon and try adding a sweetner or two x

i have to confess to the cardinal sin and had a sneaky weigh this morning - im a pound heavier than i was when starting on wednesday :(

    gutted - that'll learn me .......
Daisy you probably haven't put on. Also are you wearing similar clothes to what you wore on your wi? You have to allow for what you ate the night before etc, etc. I've hidden my scales this week. Finding I am being better as am scared about wi without my usual half a dozen weighs a day :D

Oh and as this thread is so long can someone link me to the recipe for chilli please.

TakeItEazy this is how I personally make chilli - I don't know if there is another way been posted.

2 cans of tomatoes blitzed till smooth
    2 celery stalks finely chopped
2 large onions chopped (LOVE onions)
Garlic to personal taste or not at all ;) (Am lazy and use granules)
Couple of sprinkles of mixed herbs
Chilli flakes (to personal taste) I do a couple of generous pinches
    Salt/pepper to taste
Couple tbsp of tomato puree (half a syn per tbsp)
    One tin baked beans
    One tin Red kidney beans
    One packet of Quorn mince

Mix well, simmer for one hour, stirring now and then to avoid sticking.

This is gorgeous if made early in the day ready for the evening or made one day and eaten the next. This amount makes up enough for 3 adult portions and a toddler portion for dinner and then there is enough left for a generous bowl for my lunch next day. I count this as free as the 1 syn for the tomato puree goes over 4.5 dinners ;)

I have on jacket with 14g of crumbled blue cheese on top of the chilli for 2.5 syns or as part of my HE. Heeeeeaaaaven!

I'm not keen on normal green tea but love the flavoured ones, especially lemon. There's a huge range of flavoured green teas out there - mango, peach, passionfruit, grapefruit, lemon etc Twinnings do a good selection of the flavoured ones and the boxes are on offer at 2 for £2 in Tesco atm.
I know this is a bit of a subjective question, but does anyone have any rough idea how much weight loss equals a drop in dress size? What are other people's experience of this?

I'm now comfortably fitting in 14s (rather than squeezing myself in, and wearing some 16s as I was when I started SW six weeks ago) but I'd like to know when I might hit the 12s!

gisi I remember reading somewhere ages ago that its takes about a 1.5 stone weight loss to comfortably drop a whole dress size. No idea if thats completely true or not but it seems to fit with my weight loss atm. I started as a 14/16 as well (though mostly 16 if i'm honest as anything in a 14 was a really neat fit:() and now after a 11.5 lb loss I'm fitting back into the 14s and the 16s are getting looser.

That sounds about right claire. I know I can get into size 12s when I'm just under 10 stone (so about 5lb to go) which would mean I'd need to be approx 8.5 stone to fit into a size 10  That aint ever gonna happen again :rotfl:
