HTC Desire - best deals I've found
Comments
-
Well I've finally given up on waiting for Beepy or buymobilephones and gone with mobilephonesdirect with the following:
300 mins
300 texts
unltd internet
Desire - £119
Free in car charger (!)
£15 p.m. for 24 months
Link should be here.
After quidco/topcashback of £30 this is £449 total or £18.71 p.m. over the 24 months.
At least my g/f will stop moaning at me for constantly searching for the best prices every day! :T0 -
I've been a customer of network 3 for numerous years, my current contract ended a couple of months again but I just haven't got round to trying to upgrade. Today I was offered the HTC Desire, with 300 mix & match, 500MB of Internet, the usual free Skype & 120 picture messages for £24 a month. I agreed to this as my current phone has died its death and I need a working phone. Have I made a mistake, is this deal any good?
I assume that's a 24 month contract? If so then it's an ok-ish deal but you can get 18 month contracts for £25.
(Shorter contract = better because you can get a new phone sooner).0 -

Yeah sorry forgot to mention it's a 24 month contract and you also get unlimited 3 to 3 calls. Who's the 18 month contract with?0 -

Do they have the phone in stock? If they do, I may cancel my order with BuyMobilePhones.net and order from Mobile Phones Direct instead.
EDIT: Never mind, I've cancelled my order with BuyMobilePhones.net and ordered with Mobile Phones Direct. I got the same contract deal (300min, 300txt, unlim data @£20pm on 24 month contract) although I had to pay an extra £10 upfront for the phone (£39). Doesn't really matter though because I got a free car charger and £30 quidco so it's really only £9 for the phone.Mega Doctor Who, Gadget and MSE Fan!

Well I am tired of BuyMobilePhones.net so am cancelling tomorrow. Just ordered from mobilephonesdirect, 18 month contract, 39.99 for phone, £25 a month, 100 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited internet which suits me perfectly. Also went through quidco.0 -

I've been really thinking of getting an HTC desire, however, I can't upgrade to one yet.
The best deals I've found via google are:
Handtec.com £387
Play £399
Any better deals out there?
I think it might be best to wait a few months before buying to let prices come down to around the £350 mark? The Hero is still around £350 for a brand new one I think.
Try the Carphone Warehouse - monthly, pay and go as well as handset only deals on offer.0
