Hi SH - hope you had a good Christmas and everyone got to where they were meant to be with no 'snow hold-ups' and were in good health by the time the festivities bagan!!

We went to London to my dd's - but with more snow forcast for just before Christmas - I too did a Christmas shop of items to get me through Christmas and Boxing day - luckily we made it there and back thanks to my ds driving. It took just over 3 hours going as we were late leaving as dh couldn't get away as early as previous years from work on Chrismas Eve then over 6 and a half coming home on Monday - horrendous volume of traffic all the way home - could have been worse though with snow or fog!!!!

I am trying to get into the habit of finding a bit more 'me' time so I can keep in touch with a couple of diaries I subscribe to - I quite miss them when I don't get chance to read about my virtual friends. That sounds a bit sad really......sneaks off in embarrassment.............

Well... the house sale went through, we ended up with a bit more left than we expected, MIL didn't want as much as we forecast, so we can officially say we are DEBT FREE! :D :j :money: :T

It feels like I'm all clean inside and out, ready for a fresh new year new start. :o:p:D

    Ahhhhhhhhhh palpable relief! :D

HI guys sorry for neglecting you....

Happy New Year to you all and thanks for all your good wishes.

Xmas day went well we got to where we were going and we've had a good break. Normal feeling of not being ready to go back yet compounded by the fact the kids are off a day longer than I thought!

Our fridge freezer in the garage which normally is fairly empty was all nicely stocked up with food - when it decided to stop working! Found out today. Frustrating! I cried - and got DS and OH to empty it as I couldn't face the thought of the cost of what we were throwing out...

I've watched the whole of grey's anatomy season six in about 4 days and have been going to bed at mad times. We have also borrowed some money from V to plug a hole as OH's computer has died and I still need to fix my car. The £100 repair didn't fix it really. Now wondering about buying this fridge freezer for my kitchen and putting the kitchen one in the garage or trying to manage without.

Beko CDA543FB Black Frost Free Fridge Freezer £329 sale price. I would then want to put our existing kitchen one which has bits broken off it in the garage... - thought I'd better measure available space in the garage - and it won't fit our kitchen fridge freezer so if I bought one it would just be for the garage. In which case looks are less important.....

    Off to do some thinking...
