After hoovering I slept for 3.5 hours - I guess that means I am not well yet!

Oh well - hope you are all doing well and have nice things planned for the weekend. 2 parcels arrived from amazon today which was nice - and I won the equivalent of a fiver on a free bingo site... 3/4 way to next £10 amazon voucher again. 3rd time in 3 weeks that I have had a "big" win for free!

Did you give up on DS doing the cleaning for you?

RE: budgets, you just need to find a way that works for you. £800 a month is still a sizeable chunk to be paying off debt.

    Hope you feel better soon.

Glad to hear you are getting a bit better - don't rush into doing too much too soon though - this round of cold, bugs really seems to be knocking people for quite a while. DH has been on anti-biotics, steroids and spray - still sounds and looks awful - BUT says he's Ok - hopeless!!

Hope the new budget works - being too strict always backfires on me - I get fed-up and blow it!!

    hi milann and gill

DS - can't seem to stick to the cleaning so really need to find someone else

Yesterday - I went to a cash machine, boughts some cans and picked up a chinese - all in a 15 minute car run - and then felt shakey and woozy and had to sleep for an hour! What's that about? The slightest exertion and I seem to keel over. Which is worrying as I have a backlog building at work - have already cancelled one significant meeting and may need to cancel another! A friend of mine thinks I should get a sick note for another week which I'd rather not do but may need.... Really hope I feel more normal tomorrow. Nearly finished antibiotics - really thought would be better by now... Just completely exhausted...

Got a grocery shop delivered today which is good so we have food in again - and to a budget - and I got free delivery.... but online shopping is still a temptation and I have all the time in the world being off sick!! Doing okay at resisting at the mo but it is hard!

Really bored of being home and would be happy to be back at work... I think could cope with a couple of hours of emails but not phone calls - and not all day! So think I should wait a while longer... we'll see

    Thanks for caring guys!

Is there any chance it could be something 'post-viral'? Thats what the Dr's kept saying I had before the specialist finally confirmed the diagnosis as something else, but thats exactly how I started. Caught a bug and couldn't shake it off, took about 3-4 months before I was workable again and was doing fine for 18 months which was when the ME kicked in.

I hope your feeling better soon SH, only thing I could suggest is get the sick note and give yourself a week of rest x

    Thanks Bevan and Tirl

I went back to gp - got new antibiotics and a sick note on Monday. Feeling quite a lot better now so things are improving. Decided not to try and go back to work early and just to rest. Hopefully that way I will be at full strength Monday!

Seem to be controlling our money better too so things are looking up

Had blood test today - and results are back already - I am anaemic - so that is one of the underlying reasons I have been feeling so breathless and tired at the slightest exertion! Good to have an excuse...

At least you finally have a diagnosis, so that they can start to treat you and hopefully you'll feel better soon :) x

hi Bevan - Thanks for that. Apparently the reason I have been feeling so carp - is that my anaemia is severe. I just thought I was seriously unfit or struggling with stress or depression but for my iron count to be as low as it is I must have had this months. I am a bit scared tonight from doing too much googling!!! of my symptoms and possible treatment - boots advert aside! I think it is lucky that I was ill enough with my sinuses to go to the doctors as I probably wouldn't have thought about going otherwise...

At least I am seeing the doctor Monday.... but I am also going back to work first... hope I don't regret that decision!
