Well it took over 90 minutes from when I first said to the kids lets go to the gym to actually getting them out the house! I had a nice time doing my programme while DS looked after DD. Unfortunately tho by the time I collected them from the pool they were both upset her by how much he dunked her and him by how much she complained etc... So sorry to have missed it LOL!!

DS is going away on a trip Wednesday and has just asked for £10 spending money... it never stops does it??? The trip has already cost £120!! For 3 days!!! I have to rearrange my working hours so I can pick up DD as he normally does it for me. Trying to get him to sort his stuff out and get his room tidy now rather than waiting until tomorrow night and then stressing over everything he can't find or what's in the wash!!

Hi well today at work went well so hopefully things will get back on an even keel shortly. It does feel like a big pressure has been lifted. The new holiday year starts soon so have also started to plan when I can have time off which is always positive too! I am hoping to have the first week of the Easter school holidays off - which should be good.

DS went off on his trip. Feels really weird as I haven't heard from him as his phone is broken - it got moisture in it and we didn't manage to get it sorted out in time... I do miss my DS however it was peaceful with just DD. I picked her up from school which she was pleased about. Her school are having world book day late and she is going at Pippi longstocking - she wants me to put pipe cleaners in her hair to get it stick out and stuff. She has a really good costume planned - a red long sleeved top, blue dress, white and purple leggings, boots and of course a monkey LOL We agreed it last week - best thing didn't have to buy anything for it!!

Financially not been the best month had lots of car bills so I have had to raid my transport savings pot which is a shame... Trying not to do a grocery shop this week.... Trying to plan using what's in the freezer. DS being away part of this week should help too LOL

My DD won the prize for her pippi longstocking fancy dress as the best girl in her class!! She won a book and was made up.

Life feels hectic at the moment. I am trying to diet again and went to the gym 4 times last week which included taking the kids with me twice. On top of that I worked, went to church and did all the normal things working mum's do!!

Money isn't going great at the moment we've had a lot of car bills etc. We are not in trouble however so it should balance out in the long run

Hi guys - wel went to the gym again tonight so pleased with that.

Work is going better so that's good. I've definitely got a place on the course I wanted and start it next week so am hoping that will give me a new focus.

Have invited MIL on Sunday for lunch so need to organise food and pressies for her

Well done to DD on the fancy dress - lovely when you can do it with stuff that's already in the house.

I really need to find the time to go to the gym, but am never at home long enough at the moment.

    Enjoy your course.

Hi Gill - thanks. I went to the gym again today. Lost 1.5lbs this week. So things improving. Now just need to get back on top of our money. I am quite please tho - as I have the money saved up to pay for my kids to go on a camp at £125 each. The statement arrived today - so I can write a cheque with no worries which is good and will have at least £50 left afterwards.

I've got £10 a week going into that account - so I am hoping that by the time my car insurance comes around again I will have a good chunk saved towards that. I am pre-paying my car service costs too so hopefully no nasty shocks next year for my car although OH's car is a different matter. He reckons it needs 4 new tyres. Need to sort that asap. I got paid this weekend so hopefully will fit that in soon.

DD has been all excited today. She dragged OH out to buy a mother's day present and then got him to take her to a farm. she also came up to me today and asked what she had to do to get more pocket money - so I gave her some extra jobs and basically said if she wants more pocket money she has to do more. She seemed happy enough with that so will see how it goes.

I got her to tidy up the DVD and games cabinet. So that's all straight now which is good. I am trying to do the washing today as have MIL coming tomorrow and need to get everything looking nice for that. OH has promised to help later!! Tomorrow is a bit of a full on day as I am also helping out in sunday school and OH is part of the worship band at church so we are going to have to dash home as soon as it is finished!

Hi BZ - life seems really busy at the moment. Doing okay money wise - could do better. Have paid £300 recently for a course so that doesn't help but still doing ok. Enjoying my course which is also good. Last week we went to a friend's renewal of vows ceremony. We only spent about £15 on drinks the meal and everything was covered. So just the money for the pressie other than that.

Work is going better - I'm off next week tho and can't wait. The glorious sunshine is fab but I hear it is due to go away next week which is just annoying!

Hi guys - not much progress at the moment.

Taught DD to ride her bike yesterday after years of trying she finally made it! However the bike she has is way too small for her so we may go and buy her one today in the sales.... as an early birthday present. My bike is completely wrecked so may buy one for me too... As now she can ride we can potentially go out riding as a family.
