Hi SH, you sound a bit fed up. Have you thought of the second hand ads for the bikes as they grow so quickly out of them and also money saving. Keep yer chins up.

Hi guys thanks for posting!! Nice welcome back.
I've just been mega busy with doing a course, working full time and working extra hours on top, my daughter's party and other things.
I am also not doing very well money-wise. We are consistently over-spending at the moment and I have very little motivation to do anything about it. It feels weird posting when I am not being very MSE at all!
Hopefully I can get back on track. We are planning a car trip across parts of Europe in the summer which currently looks expensive too! I've booked a hotel for a night in Folkestone and 2 nights in Paris so far -although I need to find somewhere out of the city to park my car and haven't got a clue where at the moment.... We then might take the kids to Belgium and perhaps also cross into Germany and Holland so they get more of a taste of Europe. We might be able to spend a couple of nights with friends en route... but at the moment hotels look like they might be cheaper than even centre parcs or euro camp style resorts....
My OH says we can afford it if we cut back majorly on our other spending so that's the challenge...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Ah, glad to hear you've just been busy, was getting bit worried.
Holiday sounds lovely. We were supposed to go on the motorbike to my sister's wedding back home but she's postponed it so not doing that now.
