Been to the gym last night and tonight which is good. I am struggling to sleep at the moment so going to change my HRT tabletsAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi guys
Well I've redone my budget as we've been over-spending recently. Hopefully we can now get back on track.
I've also applied for an 18 month 0% spending credit card so hopefully we can transfer some debt onto that through normal spending and pay the same off our existing 0% to avoid a 3% handling fee... I was accepted which is good.
Walked 3 miles as a family and then DS and I went out for another 2.5 mile walk so feeling virtuous. Yesterday DD and I went to the gym and swimming together so hopefully things will start to get back on trackAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi Tirl
Card arrived which is good. Used towards some of our holiday costs already. We have about £2.5K saved up which we could use towards the holiday but I would rather use it to pay off one of the cards that has a 0% due to end in about September instead.
Had cheaper meals this week. Definitely need to tackle our food spend - including work lunches. Have been trying to take food into work more to reduce spend...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi guys
Well life is okay at the moment. Just hectically busy as ever. Booked our Eurodisney tickets today in French on a French website as it worked out over £60 cheaper than buying them on the English version of the site! Really shocking!! We're just going for one day.
Bought some things for me and the kids in this week's sales. Got some good deals. Just bought some books for the holidays too. I am a fast reader but I bought quite a lot of the books second hand from Amazon so good deals. I think when I am back from holiday I need to work out how to sell books back to amazon.
MIL gave the kids 80 plus euros this week between them for the holidays which will help. OH just produced 105 euros from a previous trip plus I've got about 11 euros somewhere. Found everyone's passport but mind and the EHIC cards, just need to find mine now. We are going a week on Wednesday - really exciting can't wait.
Doing a bit of a trek round France and Belgium! Poss even Germany. should be good!:jAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hopefully you'll find your passport soon, your holiday sounds lovely.
We had last week off but just did day trips;mountain biking, climbing, walking etc.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Hi Tirl - yes 3 hours later found my passport. Then had the same saga with my driving license which took another 3 hours or so. Then OH had the same problem with his... There's a theme going on here! Suffice to say all the crates in the garage have been cleared and we've done a whole load of shredding!!!
I am really looking forward to our holiday. Booked to go to Eurodisney for one day which is very exciting!!
Now just need to work out what to take, get it washed and packed etc already to set off Wednesday night!!
May check out customs and see what food we can take with us as that would cut down some costs. Planning 2 share 2 suitcases between the 4 of us so thre is more room in the car for other stuff... We'll have to see how it all goesAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
