    Hi SH!
So sorry I haven't been around. It's been a tough year and I seem to have gone into ostrich mode with the finances so I've not been on here much.
I hope all has been well with you- I'll try and catch up. How is your arm now?
    Have a great holiday

Jellie - I've not been round much either. I also have been using the ostrich strategy when it comes to money!! Not good! Hopefully we can get back on track again now our holiday is over. It was very good, one of the most relaxing we've had despite our mini-tour... We also combined it with seeing some friends the last couple of days and then stopped with my parents one night on the way back which broke up the journey which was good.

My parents gave us an unexpected gift so we have booked to see Michael McIntyre in October.:j Gives us something to look forward to.

See you all around hope, you are doing well.

Hi CMD we went to France, Belgium, Holland and Germany! Although the last two were only on day trips. It was great and the kids really enjoyed it.

Hi Tirl - I agree we definitely need to be kicking the debt. Very slow progress currently tho unlike you!!

Starting point is to try and reduce food, clothes and fritter spend....

In other news my company that I bought last year is currently dormant and I've just filed my first return. I am hoping to do something properly with it in September and hopefully it then might start to bring in income rather than cost it....

    Hi guys

I've not been feeling very well. Been quite down and spending too much so avoiding the site sorry!! I know it is the worst combination!!

We're okay, I had a couple of weeks off sick but other than that have been in work. I've had a flurry of creativity the last month or os. I've made my first sock monkey and have been making some fabric beaney filled hearts on crystal chains with bells and tapestry cushions and a handbag. I am part way through making similar items as xmas pressies so lots on the go from that perspective.

Hope you're all well. As you can see from the time of the post sleep is still a problem!!

I think there's been a few of us truffling for a wee while, I'm just getting back into it all myself

The crafting sounds like fun :)
  • Lovely to see you on here again SavingH. I am sorry to hear you have been feeling unwell. I also have been spending far too much, way beyond our means and am really going to have to start reining myself in.

Hope to see you back here more often when you are feeling up to it.
