anyone thinking of getting this from the asda website might want to check in there local store first as the same one thats for sale for £27 on the site was selling for £15 in my local asda 2 days ago and didnt seems to be a special offer it was on the same isle as the lightbulbs

    back on topic

ordered one of theese ages ago and not recieved it yet
got a feeling it will be just the same as the british gas one that never turned up

Definitely still £27 in my local Asda, checked yesterday (Shoebury).

Anyone who applied via the link on this thread received theirs yet?
If I'm going to get one, it is due in the next week. If they have run out then I suppose not.

We previously had a different energy monitor and for various reasons now have the Npower one. The first helped us to cut down and we checked all the figures with our provider's bill etc etc, taking daily readings etc. The Npower one is telling us that we are using about 40% more than we estimate - and our meter readings confirm our personal estimates. Does anyone else have the feeling that theirs is reading really high?

Not had mine, if not here by early part of next week then I'll be going out to buy one. I am an NPower customer anyway but not on the tariff that qualifies for a free EM, so was hoping this free EM would be a way of money-saving. If mine turns up, will post, but looking doubtful.

Perhaps it's best to change the title of the OP now the conditions have changed, or else it will baffle people and waste their time!

what day did you order? How many days did it take? :j

It would appear that poster ordered from the date the thread started, so 16th April, and she thanked the OP in a post and with a click on the day of receipt, so a very fast 10 days at most.

Tinman, there were a few on eBay for under a fiver or so, but be quick. Used condition, mind! I'll give it another few days and then I'll get one on eBay too, it's about a month waiting now (and I'm an NPower customer to boot!)

I doubt I'll be getting mine, I understand they are out of stock due to huge demand.

Having done some sniffing around, the reason for this demand was the offer was picked up by dozens of freebie websites AND featured on BBC News.

I therefore won't be too surprised if mine doesn't fall through the letterbox anytime soon (if ever).

Checked my Npower monitor again today against our meter reading, the monitor is definitely high by about 30% - so ordered an Eon one which looks like the one we had originally. Off to give the Npower one to a neighbour - with a warning about its readings...... Would advise everyone, if /when you get a monitor, to calibrate it - I know it's all about reducing whatever figure you have to start with, but even so....
