Hi cath, I don't enjoy decorating any more but it's so worth it when it's done
Alex, she is studying arts and festival management, she's just also got a short internship for an event's management company in central London too, starting this week until she starts uni, should be an interesting one as they put on do's at theatres, museums and galleries etc.
No work today so I'm clearing up amd doing washing as its been neglected whilst I sort dds bedroom out.
To do:
Strip and change beds - use dryer today, it's raining and I want it all done
Do washing and put on airers
Clean bathrooms
Clean penthouse
Clean kitchen
Finish dds room
Clean downstairs, hallways and stairs
Get boys to clean their rooms
Check accounts
Work out meal plan for week
Order a moonpig photo card for our anniversary - 20yrs tomorrow :T

EagerLearner wrote: »Hi NG just wanted to say hello, I've read most of your diary and it's so inspirational. OH and I would love to pay off our mortgage in 10 years, and have been doing reasonably well but now I've decided to go self employed and so has hubby, interesting times!
For your health have you ever looked into juicing? It really helped me, takes away most cravings and packs your cells with nutrition, would help re gallbladder prob also.
Good luck with everything
Hi eager learner thanks for posting and for readingI hope going self employed doesn't slow you down trying to become mf , do you have a diary?
Re the juicing I might borrow mums nutri bullet and have a go, not sure yet if it is a diet problem but am trying to be really healthy just in case.
Thanks shs
Lots of washing done and shock horror I've had the dryer on all morning  I thought I'd treat myself as there is so much washing and I've been so busy the last few days, I can't believe how much less ironing I everything needs this way - I must not make this a new habit!
Anniversary card ordered, I took photos of our wedding photos :rotfl: have not got a present or anything though.
Accounts checked and loan paperwork looked through, it will create a surplus pm of about £30 so I've ordered £200 of premium bonds which makes a total of £400 now , to be the spending money for next year's mini cruise, that way I don't have to psychically put away spending money every month it's all done and I have knocked £10 pm off the surplus so still £20 pm up :T
M amd s bank account paper work done and 2x 2 dd's set up in two current accounts we don't really use, ready for when we switch and close to the new m amd s ones . It's getting quite complicated to sort through the maze of various accounts and direct debits now, when we are mf I am shutting the lot except one downMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Hi NG, I hope to still be able to do it, we'll have to see how the next few months go...
With the nutribullet you can do great green smoothies, good as a breakfast. Always have banana or avocado, or both, plus green veg and fruit. For example broccoli, spinach, mango, strawberry, cucumber. These are all super healthy and a way to get your 5 a day over and done with in one go ha.
Re YNAB please please take another look. You call use ynab 4, the classic version, it's a one time purchase, around 35 pounds, paid for itself many times over for us. Their facebook page and online videos are brilliant for support...MFW #185

When I went on the website only the new version was available, I've been using accounts 2l which somebody (I forgot who
) recommended. It's simple enough for me to easily keep track of my daily spending but I'm not adding bills to it. Have you see. The old version still for sale anywhere?
Just ordered loads of clothes for the boys, they never get new clothes! I've taken it out of the cruise spending money from next month, they need them for college so I will have to scrape together enough to take another way - hopefully dhs change jar at work which includes £1 coinswe do have a clothes budget but its only small so I've gone way over this time, about £140!

It's our 20th anniversary today  it only feels like about 10 years and makes me feel very old :rotfl::
We went out to pizza express and had the 2x courses for £10 deal whch dh paid for, I did google the info first and was surprised that the pizza with the hole in with salad was way less fat than a low cal superfood salad ?!
Then on to the new very flash ice cream parlour that has opened recently , very Essex it has black glittered walls, disco balls on the ceiling and purple leather booths :rotfl: I had a tea and dh had a big chocolate Sunday, all was good until a huge group of teenagers came and stated a fight with two young girls in there and there a glass at one of them  the police arrived very fast but they had already left, it's not the kind of town that has trouble so was a bit of a shock.
Total spend tonight by me £10 - £7.95 at the ice cream parlour and dh kept the change.
Collected dd afterwards and she LOVED her new room, it was well worth the effortMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Glad to hear your daughter likes her new room.
 Re. the ice cream parlour but I had to laugh at your description of the decor.2018 totals:

It would be a culture shock for you here Alex
we have so many restaurants and coffee shops in our small town , even a new specialist tea flavoured gin cocktail bar just opened, which has chandeliers
I am in the heart of Essex "glitz" :rotfl: (this is also easily identifiable by the vast numbers of white evokes driving around!)
H cath, does it matter when they first go out then? I assumed it would be on the original banks system as soon as it is set up, I'd better check too I think.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
