Thanks for all the kind wishes
Good night last night, but I have put the meal on the cc for the 4 of us £103 and kept the £50 cash from friends, that's two expensive things put on the card from this months budget- ds1's ds3 Xl he bought himself , so I have a a bit of extra cash. Until this morning when I realised I had budgeted for the £160 maths lessons and not included the money we owed from missed lessons.a very tight month ahead now!
Ds2 went to see West Ham at Liverpool yesterday and they were losing 2-0 until the last 20 mins when they scored 3 goals , one very happy ds after a very long day :T
Happy Mother's Day to all 💐MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Lovely lunch at mums yesterday, had to wait up for dd who was at the secret cinema last night, so many late nights lately I am very tired!
Ds 2 has his first brace fitting today at lunchtime, so I will be missing a couple of hours of work, tomorrow it's college interviews in the morning x2. I don't want to use holiday up so need to make the time up.
Have to weigh myself and I know it will be lbs on after this week, I might wait until tomorrow though as its my official weigh in day (my friend at work has Ww on a Monday night so we compare on a Tuesday).
I have not lost anything really for weeks, so am going back to mfp and trying to eat clean as much as possible with no alcohol, those things made the most difference when I first started. I am desperate to buy new clothes as either my clothes look a bit scruffy or are too small!
So my new pledge Is maybe alcohol maximum once a week as a treat until the cruise in the middle of April and a promise to myself to track all food and drink eaten, and to continue excercise classes.
Budget has a taken a very early on in the month beating, need to fill up the new car for the first time today too eek! It's not going to be cheap, I think it takes about £5-10 more to fill up than the Zafira did according to google! But petrol consumption is not the only cost to take into account I guess, we shouldn't get too much depreciation with car that's already 9yrs old, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to itMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Poor dd is in a panic, a few of the classes have found out they have not been set the correct amount of assignments this year and are very behind, two staff have been sacked and she has been set work by a teacher from a different dept. Now they have a huge amount to catch up on, it's very frustrating as all her work has so far been distinction star level, and she is usually ahead of where she needs to be.
Now she is threatening to not go on her Disneyland trip at the end of the week (only two nights) which she has been planning for a year with friends. She has stopped me going to college for the moment as she wants to complain first and find out the full situation.
She has also been offered work experience with the guys we are about to start doing lots of work for at the factory, paid one day a week wherever she is ready, working in the design and advertising dept. So it's not all bad this week I suppose.
Ds2 has half a brace on now and is uncomfortable, ds1 feels, sick and went to bed early, college interviews today for the boys at exactly the same time, so dh needs to come too. It's only Tuesday and I feel done in.:rotfl:
Financial news is:
Car filled up for £51 - it must have a big reserve after the light goes on as I was expecting it to be dearer.
Two months with no water bills :T over pay or buy tickets for Thorpe park for Easter?MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
College places for the boys now offered (depending in results ) it took hours to sort out, one ds was first seen , the other last seen out of hundreds!
Dh took my car keys to work, dd them missed college bus and therefore first lesson, plus may other silly stressful things. Hopefully today will be easier
Spent £60 on the way home from work in mr t , with no shopping list, oops. With the petrol full up Monday the budget is going down fast.
£211.83 left until 1st AprilMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Chaotic household! I remember when Mrs SJ was on maternity leave with one of the boys and I took the remote control to work when on a long day with a late finish and a 3hr drive home! I was definitely in the bad books!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0
