Couldn't get into Prezzo last night so came home and had a takeaway instead and watched tv, lazy but nice. Dd is back from Disneyland as has (as requested) bought me a 2016 Xmas tree decoration, so we will always know the year of her first trip to Disney :D

I have to say I am impressed, I have never considered coach travel for that type of break, it was £179 for travel, a Disney hotel and breakfast and two days park passes. Well worth the money and as we are the last stop off before Dover , not too long on the coach.

A whole day ahead with nothing planned today, ds1 has just left for the coach to Man U who they are playing today, so he will be late home, other than collecting him, nothing to do.

    Option one:

Stay in bed as long as possible

    Option two:

Take the electric van to Southend and have a wander by the sea

    Option three:

    Natural history museum

    Option four:

    Cinema

    Option five:

    Tidy the garden

    Option six:

Take mum to garden centre while dh stays in and watches a movie.

Decided on taking mum out for a coffee yesterday morning and staying in with dd to watch a couple of programmes and cooking. ( and eating 1/4 of a mince pie strudel!)

Today is the 14th , we are away on the 14th April for the mini cruise, I should have lost loads of weight and have only lost 12lb in total when I wanted to lose 3 stones :( I had lost just over a stone but put some back on. So another promise to myself this morning ( hopefully not an empty one!)

One month so enough time to still make a difference, ( when it comes to fitting in my friends posh evening gowns :D)

    So, I PROMISE to:

Have no alcohol for a month
Go to 2x classes per week
    Use mfp everyday and Fitbit
Stick to 1300 cals per day max.

I am going to buy the 3x packs of shakes on offer from mr t like the sl*m fast ones, they are quite filling for breakfast and are on offer at the moment at 3x boxes for £10, no ideal but a kick start I hope.

Determined to not go over the cc budget this month, £5.05 spent in £1land yesterday but nothing else. No alcohol should help a lot , and if I cut out avocados for breakfast we should be better off too :D

You've prompted me to pack a little foldaway bag for when I'm back in the UK next month :T.

hahaha re. the 5p bags. I just carry things to the car and put individual items in the boot. Can't see what the problem is, to be honest.
    2018 totals:
    Savings £11,200
    Mortgage Overpayments £5,500

I do have a collection of star wars reusable bags but they were in the car whch was the other end of town, no chance of walking back just to get them in shoes with a heel :p

Day one of being good successful,

    Calories 1180
    Steps 11.788
    Zumba 45mins
    No alcohol

Plus extra cals burned arguing with dh about work (totally unrelated to be being hungry and snappy!)

Three trips to work /dentist yesterday which has hammered the petrol, but hanging n with the budget so far.

£139 of budget left until April 1st after a small shop in mr t last night.

£81 of budget now left as I spent on £58 on a mr t online shop , apart from a half leg of lamb on offer and some chicken , everything was value  have not bought loads of value stuff for a long time! Don't think I will stick to budget now due to petrol needed for the next two weeks.

Ds1 had maths tuition last night and she has suggested he do one of her revision classes at Easter, small groups for a total of 12 hours for £275 (cheaper than usual at £40ph) dd says she had one to one which her maths teacher at school in the holidays plus loads of revision classes whch were very good. (She also had the same private tutor once a week) not sure what to do :o. I do feel slightly the subject of a hard sell, as I am getting many emails promoting the extra classes, but a terrible mum for even thinking of saying no, it might make all the difference! I think I will see if he can find out what is available at school first.

Diet going well, 2 days under cals, no alcohol and another class tonight 2lb lost so far since starting the mr t version of sl*m fast. :D

Need to update mf2016 spreadsheet as I checked it and my update has not shown, so far I have paid zero off this year!

Feeling totally bleugh today, hot and cold, wibbly/wobbly :( work was a bit of a trial as I was was so busy. Skipped clubberercise tonight and had naughty marmalade on toast and crisps for tea :D

Value shop has turned up and dh is unpacking at the moment unsupervised  I think it could be one of the very few times in our 21 years together that he has sorted the shopping alone, not that I don't trust him of course ;)

Sooo tired am off to bed now :)

I had an unexpected free day today as best friends little one is poorly, so I have been washing and stripping beds and doing my favourite thing of all - looking at mortgage spreadsheets :rotfl:

We have 2x outstanding 0% cc's along with an op limit almost reached (until June) , together with a new mortgage deal coming up in July so a few changes.

Current balance on the cards is :

£3188.33 fluid (ends mid June 2016)

    £4099 Santander (ends July 2017)

So I thought I'd clear the £3188 one before its up for renewal again. This means a reduced mortgage payment until June , but more money available afterwards pm.

Then from June onwards it will cost £566 to clear the Santander by the end of he year, during this time we can still make the mortgage payments required to clear in term.

All going well we should be able to snowball those payments n 2017 towards the mortgage to knock a bit more time off. :)

If all this is possible ( a big if :D) new end date would be may 2020 23 months earlier and exactly 50 months from next month.

This is all dependant dhs earnings and that could change, it's a change from the planned way of only focusing on the ops, but to be honest if we have serious problems with the wages/business a few £1000 paid off the credit cards instead of extra op's would be a drop in the ocean
