To be fair it is quite cold at the moment :snow_laug: I think we have just been paying a lot as we didn't have a summer surplus to see is through. Either that or I read the meter wrong  it is a dodgy old one in a dark cupboard , so it always a possibility :rotfl:
Soooo tired today, work manic, then the usual running around at home in the evening. We have just started watching the Oj Simpson drama which is good on catch up, but am too sleepy to concentrate so am off to bedMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
I love that OJ Simpson programme - I know its dramatised but even so can't believe the stuff that went on. If it wasn't based on fact you would never believe it!0

Apparently she was lulabelle, but she should have been for the vast amount my parents paid for 2x tickets on the ticket resale site
Nice day yesterday, looked after best friends one year old for 45 mins whilst she went to a school assembly, just 45 mins! I have no idea how I ever coped with 3 kids aged 3 and under :rotfl: after that we went to the shops for a quick mooch, I bought a top for the cruise from next with birthday money.
Today ds2 is at work with dh, ds1 will do a bit of revision and no doubt lazing around, I am taking mum and dd to see my big fat Greek wedding 2, she watched the first one the other day and enjoyed it (not our usual taste really) I think having a Spanish gran helped, she has some different ways about her sometimes, like licking her hand and touching your face for luck , that sort of thing
New mortgage deal time is on the horizon soon, deal ends end June I think, so will have to ring up soon, I want maximum op's allowed, there is one that allows 50% at 2.04 % for 2 years, so we will more than likely go for that, options are limited as we can't change provider.
I finally got a message back from Santander credit cards about she the 0% deals ends and its sooner than I thought, this September :eek:so I have (yet again!) changed my mind- to clear both before they are due for the deal to end would mean not paying enough on the mortgage, which I am not prepared to do. So we will apply for new 0% cards and continue to chuck everything at the mortgage (holding back some until the remortgage has gone through due to op limits )

Today's plans are:
Deliver eggs to friends little ones
Make up Easter gift bags for my lot
Do washing
Tidy up and clean
Rummage around for dinner tonight
Balance the accounts
Think about holidays
I wanted to take the kids away somewhere special as they all break up early after exams so prices are cheaper. The kids have not been too interested really, but I thought I would have another look through what we could do. They have mostly had a holiday each year of some description, mainly salcombe in Devon with my parents amd a fair few caravan breaks, a few centre parks and butlins breaks. We once went to a villa in the Algarve for a week. I have no idea what might entice them , not a lot probably
To be honest, mum has said she will give us some money when she sells grans house (currently going through) and I am under the impression it will be enough for a family holiday. There are of course other places it could be made use of, but I would love it if it went on a family holiday
I am thinking along the lines of:
A mini cruise on a big ship - they can go off independently in a safe environment
Hot holiday in a hotel , never done with the kids before, not sure beach holidays are my thing really
City break
I don't know, I am probably wasting my time, dh says it's too late nowI am not giving up just yet though.
