Happy Birthday to your DD.0

Thank you so much everyone, she had a great day
a morning of New DVD 's then a pub lunch, followed by family (including the inlaws, who managed to  me again) followed by a curry with three friends then back to the log cabin to try out the disco lights and sound system.:rotfl: I have just dropped them all home.
So tired now, tomorrow the house will be empty apart from me, I am planning on sorting out the last of the party stuff then drinking lots of tea and hanging out on mse.
Just to add I have not forgotten my massive to do list, I just can't face looking at it tonightMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

Do around 15 hours work for dh  afew hours done
Buy Indian and Chinese nibbles from ic*eland -its not cool to eat at parties so we don't need much!
Top up fizzy drink as people keep drinking the ones I hid.
Make Star Trek fairy cakes for actual birthday when family come over:)
Take dd out on weds to cinema - world war z ?:)
Possibly take her out on thurs if her she does not see friends

Check what I have present wise for the twins birthday in a coup,e of weeks , and add to it if needs be
Set a day and send invites to take twins to thorpe park with friends for birthday and order extra tickets
Look again at financial plan, worried about covering everything still
Contact loft company, neighbours still not got Form s for party wall act. Guy is on holiday at the moment:)
Meal plan for this week up to Sunday and buy what we need at proper supermarket not corner shop
Make a batch of laundry gloop
Do all washing/ironing everyday so it does not get out of hand
Make ops for the last few days and today
Update mf213 figures and sig.
Batch cook spag Bol before mince turns
Weed front garden and plant new flowers in the basket that had died
Most of the list got done :T still a bit of tidying to do before the big night and some nibbles cooking to do. It's going to be very hot today , I think its the first birthday party we have had for years for dd without rain.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

How's the morning after the night before?

Hi Tilly, its not too bad! We had far less come than expected, around 20ish. They were fairly well behaved as much as lots of 16/17 yr olds can be, but there is a lot of food squished into the decking
I am psyching myself up to start now, obviously everyone else is in bed still

Clearing up still ongoing , we are going to have another stab at empting the loft as we have not been up there since jan  they could be starting in a couple of weeks.
It's going to be a long 6 weeks hols this year with no summer holiday so I am going to plan a few days out as cheap as possible. I just looked up the cost of the 4 of us (dh will be at work) using our Oyster cards for days out in London, its an £8.50 cap for me a day off peak and £1.50 each for the kids, so £13 a day.
Ideas so far that have not been refused are:
Natural history/ science museum
Picnic in Kensington gardens
Visit to "forbidden planet" ( nerdy comic shop)
Trip to the m&m'shop in Leicester sq
Meal at bodeans rib restaurant (probably over budget)
Camden market
London eye (free with passes, but I can't go as too high!)
I would like to go to the national gallery and London zoo, but they are not keen.
Other ideas not in town are:
Lots of orange Wednesdays
Chessington with best friend and her younger two
Anyone else have any cheap plans for the summer hols, I need some ideas to steal?MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0
