What a greats result yesterday with the tennis
Yes, it was great
Sounds like a full on week - glad I'm just at work for a rest :rotfl:. Hope DS2 ok.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

That is a heck of a list.0

Hi, how's the list going?
It's great that your DD is building these memories.
Groupon have a hard back Snapfish PhotoBook on offer at the moment, and whilst I know it will add to your spends, it would be a lovely momento. You could add some of the school prom pics as well.
Don't forget TcB or £co if you decide to buy.

What a greats result yesterday with the tennis
Right, onto the to do list for the week:
Order a c*ostco cake plain white ready for the Star Trek topper I ordered
Clean and finish decorating the log cabin for party
Find and wrap dd's gifts
Take her to shops to buy a masquerade mask (theme for party)
Blitz whole house (sounds like a small job, but isn't)
Do around 15 hours work for dh
Buy Indian and Chinese nibbles from ic*eland -its not cool to eat at parties so we don't need much!
Top up fizzy drink as people keep drinking the ones I hid.
Make Star Trek fairy cakes for actual birthday when family come over
Take dd out on weds to cinema - world war z ?
Possibly take her out on thurs if her she does not see friends
Take ds2 for blood tests todayhe was brave!
Check what I have present wise for the twins birthday in a coup,e of weeks , and add to it if needs be
Set a day and send invites to take twins to thorpe park with friends for birthday and order extra tickets
Look again at financial plan, worried about covering everything still
Contact loft company, neighbours still not got Form s for party wall act.
Meal plan for this week up to Sunday and buy what we need at proper supermarket not corner shop
Make a batch of laundry gloop
Do all washing/ironing everyday so it does not get out of hand
Make ops for the last few days and today
Update mf213 figures and sig.
Batch cook spag Bol before mince turns
Weed front garden and plant new flowers in the basket that had died
Still way more not done than done on the list!
I have been through the finances this morning and have decided to put the college bus fees, bathroom and bed for the loft on the cc. I will have to do a balance transfer at the end of the year to a new 0% cc.
The idea was to prioritise paying the cc off , but as the loft loan is at 6.4 % it ,makes sense to op that before anything else. Having a look at the target I set for the mfi3 take 3 challenge to get the total amount owed down to £146,175, it would mean paying the loan off at a rate of £908 pm  plus the cc (balance around 5k ) @£178 pm.
If we can stick to a budget of £600 for everything pm, food/petrol/clothes/Xmas/school trips etc./birthdays/holidays/pets. Then the only shortfall will be the disneyland trip next year £143 and if I want to clear the 0%cc by the same date as the challenge ends in dec 2015 then I need to find £118 pm extra on top of the £60 allowed in the main budget. So a shortfall of £261.
Some will hopefully be made up with having the odd frugal month, some by selling stuff we don't need on fleabay.
The good news is I may have some work coming up soon :j a good friend is starting a cleaning business with her friend an they will probably need extra help, I have worked with her before cleaning and its hard work but quite nice doing it with someone else , it can get very boring doing it alone. Still no other work around and no master plan for a business yet
Off to sort the log cabin out for the party now, I shall then lock the door to keep everyone out until the weekend.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Your list is even longer than mine, Know what you mean about how long it takes to blitz the house. I'm trying to do mine as neighbour feeding the cat while we're caravaning this weekend  and just noticed a million cobwebs
. Hope your daughters party goes well.

Oh how rude , I just spotted two posts I ignored earlier when I last posted sorry.
thanks Tilly I will have a look, we had already discussed making a book of prom pictures.
Hi pixie dust, can you just clean the route from the front door to the cat bowls? I would
Starting to wish i had not done the list now, I have only crossed two things off today  tomorrow me and my dd are going to see "now you see me" at the cinema as its weds. Then thurs is her birthday and we are gong for a pub lunch with my mum then have family over for cake once the twins are back from school.
Dh has been stringing fairy lights round the garden and trying to get the sound system working , he has been out there for hours now, I am leaving Him to it as Hannibal is about to start.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
It's dd's 16th today
she has already opened her presents from us, a laptop and a few horror films so she is happy. I am taking her out for a pub lunch today with my mum and little brother.
I have been so busy that I decided to pop to mr t last night and get some cupcakes there instead of baking them for family today, glad I did as because it was late I got a few yellow stickers:
Kingsmill 14p
Suede. 17p
Iceberg. 13p
Warburtons wraps 10p
Massive bag spinach 30p
Bag courgettes 30p
The only problem is I have to make something with the spinach today as its wilting and I don't have much time as the house is still a tip. I think maybe spinach and chickpea curry might be easiest int he slow cooker.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
