Oh my goodness it's so depressing going through the finances
There is no way we can afford to go back to repayment just now, it will have to wait until our deal is up next may. I still want to put by £100 pm in savings though.
As we decided to book Disneyland Paris for next year for 4 nights its going to mean not paying much of anything off, its not ideal but I really want to do something with the kids as they have only been abroad once and dd will be 17 by then and its probably the last family holiday we might have with her.
So to pay out for :
Coach to college £500
college donations £120
Disney incl everything £2,500
New bed for loft room £300 (ebay plus new mattress)
loft and stairs carpet £500
Bathroom fixtures £600
0% cc £3258
plus £100 pm savings
So effectively no mortgage oping or oping the loft loan until Jan 2015  I wish I had not looked at this now :rotfl:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

I have just dropped dh at the station, he is off on a pub crawl in London with friends and I am at home with 7 kids today
I think he got the best deal there!
Dd has friends round for pizza, movies and hot tub today, they are no trouble though and one of the boys is taking dd to the prom so it was nice to have a nosey at him
I have spent a bit today as I have booked cinema tickets to see the new worlds end film in July, its a trilogy showing shaun of the dead and hot fuzz too, am I soooo excited. It makes up for not getting the Derren brown tickets.
It's not all spending though, I have also finally listed the tent on fleabay, £100 starting bid and £400 but it now. I have already checked on it about 15 times since lunch time, I wonder how many times I can check it in the course of a week, around 1000 :rotfl:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

Whooo, a watcher already its so exciting
I now have a living room full of teenagers, cats and dog all snuggled under blankets watching silence of the lambs and eating lots of the sweets I bought for dd's party. It's quite nice actually, they are a lovely bunch.
Have made a big batch of onion bhajis tonight for the freezer but the guests have eaten them all, still it helps my waistline I suppose.
Hope everyone is having a good weekendMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Hi Newgirly I will have the same at my house tomorrow. My daughter finishes college tomorrow and two friends are coming back and staying until Wednesday. It's nice to meet them. Just popped to Iceland to get a couple of large lasagnes for one night. When is your loft conversion starting? You will never look back once it's done and wondered why you had waited so long. Have a good day.2025 Decluttering 10472⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hello newgirly, just popping in to check out your diary, I love the idea of a full house like that, you must have felt quite proud that your dd has found lovely friends! All the best with your journey, Floppy.Mortgage Apr 18 £417,894 BTL Mar 18 £162,857

Hi mrs. Money penny, it is supposed to be starting In the next few weeks / month but we need to pin them down to a date, thanks for popping in
A lazy day day today , I had a very late night as the teenagers were still here at 11.30 then I drove them all home in different directions. I was staying up to collect dh from the station after his pub crawl anyway.
I've just got on the scales tonight and I need to lose weight, about 2 stones ideally to be easily fitting in a size 10. I've just updated on myfitnesspal again and am planning to do the 30 day shred that I have found on utube. The no drinking has gone well except for Friday when I had a few glasses of red,so maybe rather than complete abstinence I will have a once a week treat , hopefully this will mean less crisps too
Anyway plan for tomorrow is :
Get all washing done....done
Go and collect school shirts from mr a (a grabbit bargin).....done
Stick to 1200 cals ....done
Do the shred plus an extra 30 mins walking... Done
Doctors Appointment with ds
Drop dd at her course in next town
Meet family for coffee at shopping centre ( have been dodging this lately and its been noticed!)......done
But some birthday cards at cheap shop .....forgot!
2 hours work for dh.....ran out of time
Check accts ......done
Make op....done
Hope everyone had a good weekendMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

I am suffering today after two days of the shred, I can only lift my arms slightly, they are agony
Just did the monthly money shift around after pay went in today. Yesterday I spent load on school stuff for the boys, very annoying when there are only a few weeks left but had to buy shoes for each, plus shirts and pe kits. So now I have overspent and then some on the cc. So I have had to cancel the first months savings I was planning, now I have £186 cash until I can use the cc again on 11th July. So £10 a day and £36 left over for a couple of orange weds cinema trips with dd and anything else that crops up.
Dd has gone to work with dh again today, but almost didn't as she didn't want to  she is only doing one day a week, so I don't think it's too much to ask she continues to go. At the risk of sounding like an old woman , when I was her age I worked everyday of the holidays and every weekend in a shop.
Anyway, lots of work to do for dh at then moment which may take longer with achey arms :rotfl:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0
