I'm sure once the loft is done you will feel better. It can make you feel a bit uneasy spending so much on your home when you've had itchy feet but it could be this that makes you fall in love with your house.

Am sure you will juggle everything financially too.

Hi cath, thanks for popping, I hope the loft does make me feel differently about the house, nothing has ever been completed before, so fingers crossed we will have one room perfect :D

Forgot to make today's op , so will do that in a moment ( the minimum 10p AGAIN)

The bowling was good, well worth £16 , but not the quoted full price of £91. It made a nice change for all five of us to do something at the same time.

Inspired by aj money's to do list for the week, here is mine:

    Monday:
    3 hours work for dh
    All washing
    All ironing
Blitz the kitchen till everywhere sparkles
    Meal plan for the week
    Do surveys
    Food shop

    Tuesday:
Go to college interview with dd
    3 hours work for dh
    All washing /ironing
Blitz the bathroom until it sparkles
    Do surveys

    Weds:
    3 hours work for dh
    All washing /ironing
    Living room/conservatory thorough clean
    Do surveys

    Thurs:
    3 hours work for dh
    All washing/ ironing
    Dd's bedroom and hall/stairs/landing
    Do surveys

    Friday:
    3 ours work for dh
    All washing /ironing
    Twins room
    Do surveys
    Food shop
Take dog for final check up at vets

It seems a very repetitive list :rotfl:

Yes, there's reasonable chance there may be a result :D
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
