The mortgage/business stuff does sound scary and complicated. I hope it can all be sorted from a personal and business point of view. Good luck to your DH today. I was quite surprised when we applied for new mortgage we weren't asked about current CC balances (we have a bit on 0% too).

    How was the curry???

I'm on lookout for new mobiles so will try and find the cashback offer you mentioned, it's frustrating when they bring out good offers after you've signed up. Did you sign up for netflix? That's an easy cashback one to do.

Enjoy your lunch with friends, hopefully it will distract you from DH's business stuff.

Hi cath, I ruined the curry by adding what I thought was tandoori powder and it was super hot chilli powder so it all had to be thrown and I had a cheese roll for dinner :o

Dh did sign up for netflix but with no cashback! He is always watching films now so its definatly worth the money.

Thanks yukkibear! Its only a first meeting to see if it will be viable to buy the premises, but i suppose we will at least know if its a "not in a million years" :D

The meeting at the bank went ok, lots of hoops to jump through first and nothing is 100%, but its promising, we could end up with a new huge business mortgage as well.

I've so much to do today, I really would like to have some time to sit down and sort out the finances. DD had invited friends round so I've 7 of them tonight, and need to buy some food.

Off to the personal trainer now, hopfully will have to to sit down and go throught the accts later.:D

I survived my personal training session, but only just! She made us jog in the street for a whole mile  Well walk and run for a mile, I am so unfit I felt like I was going to die :rotfl:

I then came home and cleaned the whole house and ran out of time to do dh's work, I need to catch up tomorrow now but at least the house is done.

Had lots of teenagers for tea as well so made some nice lemon and choc muffins and managed to resist until 5 mins ago and ate a huge lemon one covered with butter icing, all that jogging for nothing!

Good luck with new mortgage, sounds like meeting went well though. I can't run outside, the cold hits my chest and I can't breathe!! I did a 12 week 30 minute running programme though and it really works. Can't remember it exactly but you start out for example walking for 4 mins, running for 1 and gradually build up. By then end of the 12 weeks I was running 30 mins non-stop and eventually I could run for around 50 minutes! That was all pre-children though!

    Hi newgirly :-D

Have just caught up on your diary for the last year! I've been such a slacker when it comes to reading others' diaries and I do like them for tips and inspiration (as well as often being a good read) so have resolved this year to do better at keeping up with them!

Fingers crossed re the business x

Hi greent thanks for popping in

Hi cath, I did do the long walk then short jog thing, but it was still too much :rotfl:

I have just started going through the accts this afternoon and transfering wages around the houses to get my halifax bonus rewards, extra earnings could be better this month, so far i have earned £181.99

Last month I earned £350, and op'd £200 , my target is to earn £167 pm which is £2012 this year and I was hoping to make a bit more and op £200pm and spend the rest on treats or holidays, but I might change it to £100.

Back later wih more plans :D

As hubby gets paid weekly I should have a few spare weeks money each year, previously these have been sucked up into the acct without being spent on much in particular or taken on holiday as spending money, this year hopefully i will overpay the mortgage with it all.

I am already behind though as we bought a bigger car last month which meant spending extra so I jave been clearing that as well the last couple of months , hopfully can start properly in march or april.
