Had lots of teenagers for tea as well so made some nice lemon and choc muffins and managed to resist until 5 mins ago and ate a huge lemon one covered with butter icing, all that jogging for nothing!
Well, it's not for nothing coz now your result is neutral instead of gain:beer:
I'm eating ice creams;) Loads of it. But I'm excused as I had false contractions all day AGAIN! 25 days to big day:DDebt: [STRIKE]-£77.299 74,209[/STRIKE]-£72,860 Projected MF date(age):[STRIKE]2044(63)[/STRIKE] 2029(48)

When I saw your grocery budget at £250 I just wanted to blush - I spent that much since 13 feb (That's when I started recording groceries on spreadsheet) so your budget lasted me 10 days:eek:
My original budget assumption was £100 pw but now I start to think I was in denial at how much I spend! Or maybe it will even out by the end of the 30 days ... hopefully:p
The fact that most of the shopping is now done by my OH doesn't help at all as his idea of saving is buying 2 boxes of velvet tissues saving 0.40p (but comparing to own brand overpaying £1:rotfl:)Debt: [STRIKE]-£77.299 74,209[/STRIKE]-£72,860 Projected MF date(age):[STRIKE]2044(63)[/STRIKE] 2029(48)

Wow not long to go weronika! best of luck
My dh also has no concept of money saving when food shopping, its always unhealthy and expensive, although he is not so fussed tissue wise :rotfl:
I am half way through the finances as they are all out of the house , one ds at football and all the rest at the shops looking for something for my birthday, although I have said I don't really want anything so am driving dh mad as he needs clear instructions present wise!
My family are giving me money for my birthday , so I have spent ages looking for a cheap weekend away or day out to use it on to take the kids out, perhaps over easter, dh is also putting a bit towards it.
I have op'd £200 off the mortgage today from extra money earned and there is still £139 left from jan/febs money which I could also spend towards a treat out.
Its a good job I am earning extra as all other money has gone towards paying the extra for the car in january, so will have a little to op in march and then start properly in april.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

Ever since I burst in tears on the sight of my Christmas present
(our first Christmas together as well) I'm getting buy-all-you-want shopping spree on Boxing Day:rotfl:This way we are both happy as I love sales and he doesn't have to pick anything, just pay and carry stuff around.Usually after few minutes we decide to split so he goes for the coffee and I get his credit card and drop bags off at his chosen cafe:j
You are still doing great with OP considering the extras spent on the car!Debt: [STRIKE]-£77.299 74,209[/STRIKE]-£72,860 Projected MF date(age):[STRIKE]2044(63)[/STRIKE] 2029(48)

Hi NG and all your readers!
Just dropping by. best of luck with everything. I appreciate the business side could be scary but it seems the best way forward from the bits you say. You have to be bold where there is an opportunity. Certainly I have moved around a bit recently workwise, never run my own business though...but have certainly grabbed new things when they were offered!
Have a great weekendMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

:j Just managed to op an extra £200, not sure how but have squeezed it from whats in the account this month, probably due to starting to use the cc for shopping so am 1 month behind with the grocery budget thus spare money, i've also resisted booking a weekend at easter for us all to go to the isle of wight and instead booked a pr8mier inn near alton towers for 1 night , so we will do one day at the park and 1 day at the water park, which hopefully i can get vouchers for. Hotel £58 for 2 x rooms on good friday, and possibly room for a friend for dd to go as well. Much cheaper than AT hotel which was nearly £600 for one night b&b with NO park tickets
I have a mega busy week hopefully earning a bit of money to save for dh's birthday. Due to the fact I am not really losing weight whilst having a personal trainer (just getting steadily more kn*ckered) I am trying the milkshake diet as of today, so am already pretty hungry.:rotfl:
Hope everyone has had a good weekendMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
