I have never been to alton towers before, dh has once many moons ago. DS 2 and me are both scardy cats though and will stick to the smaller rides thats why I thought the waterpark might be nice for him the second day.
The milkshake diet went well for a couple of hours yesterday :rotfl:
I rang the chelsea again, I like to pester them on a regular basis as its nice to get your moneys' worth. It was just about trying to get the same interest rate as new customers, existing customers get worse deals, i can understand more if you are self-certification but we are not, very annoying and another wasted phone call.:o
I would love to change provider but don't want to jepordise anything with trying to get dh's work mortgage so it might be best left where we are incase we get rejcted at some.
Food wise I have been spending a lot more as I had 4x £10 off a £30 shop at mr t , so I used them with my £5 off a week vouchers from there, and ended up with big trolleys full each time and have even wasted some food lately  its time to put a lot more effort in, I usually have batched cooked meals for me but not dh, the kids eat more chicken/veg/rice/nuggets/jackets type meals and are a pain ( my own doing i know) when they were little they ate anything i gave them , all homecooked but it changed really when they got older at school and I got fed up of chucking food away so kept it simple.
Anyway, a whole day's work for dh to do today plus dd has mock gcse's this week and a work experience interview this afetrnoon and i seem to have mislaid the sat nav so will have to look it up online and write down directions.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
I love Alton Towers:j I'm lucky to live near enough we do not have to stay overnight, so we just have to pay for entry tickets:p
And my 2yr old is just like me as well - loves the rides:D When we go to Legoland Discovery he is negotiating with the staff to let him go on the rides 2 times in a row. His negotiating technique: cute smile, big puppy eyes and repeating 'more, more, more?' cute smile again:rotfl:Usually it works:D
This summer he'll be tall enough to go on some rides in Alton so we might take him there for the first time.Debt: [STRIKE]-£77.299 74,209[/STRIKE]-£72,860 Projected MF date(age):[STRIKE]2044(63)[/STRIKE] 2029(48)

Its a very busy day today, I have :
- Personal trainer
- 2 hours work
- visit to the crematorium (grandad)
- lunch with a friend
- takeaway with girls tonight
- food shop
- tidy house
- washing and ironing
I think I am a day or two away from being 90 days before my mortgage is up for renewal, so i would like to have yet another look at everything before reserving a new rate with my current provider. I'd also like to catch up with some diaries, its seems ages since I wasted a few hours nosing at what everyone is up to.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

Ha Ha , exciting times indeed!

I have so far managed to get everything done today except cleaning my own house and food shop, I am going to do a mini shop round the corner as we don't need a lot over the next few days hopefully if we are out and about.
Indian with the girls is cancelled, but i might go for a drink with one of them tonight instead, although my feet are literally throbbing at the moment as I've rushed about so much. Weigh in at the personal trainer's was a surprise as I've lost 1b, and I have not exercised this week or eaten well.
Time to start dinner and cleaning the house now, I am determined to sit on my bum for at least a couple of hours tomorrow, so the more I do today the less needs doing friday.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
I have both boys off ill today, one with a cold and one with a tummy ache. Both seem to be quite a bit better this afternoon so I've sent them upstairs to tidy their room. I've spent the morning making lots of cakes today as I have all my older relatives over for tea and cake at 4pm, the house is still a mess and I have parents and aunt, round for a takeaway tonight for my birthday.
DH and the kids got me lots of bits and pieces for my birthday, little things I like such as posh hairspray, soap and glory shower gel, sherlock dvd's which was nice, they had put some effort in :T
I'm going to have a cuppa and get on with cleaning, hope everyone has a good weekend.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
