Missed my flight out to Japan and the trip of a lifetime yesterday. The reality of no plans for 2 weeks is just dawning, at least the sun is out this weekend!

Sister stuck in Jakarta, no school for her on Monday (teacher!).

My daughter and friend are in Majorca, due to come home today but obviously flights cancelled. problem is they booked through a " travel agent" and the flight section is with easyjet.

the easyjet site gives option to rebook but they do not have log on details as TA booked it. I have be trying to get through to TA and waste of time, after being on holid for ages get cut off, this has happened every time.

and now easyjet call centre is opened keep getting cut off as well.

Her transfer to airport is arriving at hotel in an hour, looks like she will have to go to airport and try and get flight changed at easyjet desk there .
    TOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T

if she goes to the airport and tries to check in then she can speak to easyjet and get them to sort out a hotel until they can get her back to the uk.

My wife was originally due to fly back from Frankfurt to London on Thursday. She then had a flight on Friday to Hong Kong. She managed to get Cathy Pacific to reroute her from Frankfurt to Hong Kong via the standby list. Frankfurt was then closed down.

Since has managed to travel to her friend in Milan where she is now resting and waiting as she didn't want to try and get to brussels for EuroStar since it is fully booked. She might as well enjoy the sun and take the break.

Only problem is she had a small case with a few days clothes, hopefully her friend can help her out.

Thia ia the position my son found himself in yesterday and npw he is in a hotel in Barcelona which Easyjet have put him in whilst waiting for a re-booked flight to UK next week. Only breakfasts are paid for him but perhaps Easyjet will provide more if you push it.
    good luck

British airspace to remain closed until 7pm BST today.

    It's just been updated - it's now 1am Sunday. :(
